Effective, medium-range scent, neutralized urine odor rather than attempting to cover it up.
Discovered after the fact that a cat had used the carpet after a move so it was dried and well soaked in by the time we found it. Shop-vac hot water extraction over the area several times along with soaking with a different enzyme cleaner and allowing to dry still left residual urine odor. Was looking for an enzyme cleaner that would be effective and not fumigate us out of our living space. Nature’s Miracle is way too perfumed and Petzyme, while smelling nice, wasn’t able to control this well soaked-in smell (could possibly work well on a lighter odor, it DID improve the smell just not entirely). I treated roughly a 4 square foot area (2’x2′ with my best guess at the origin point in the center) by pouring 1/2 gallon on it with a watering can and just let it soak through the carpet, the pad, and to the floor beneath. This product’s smell is somewhere between the heavy perfume of Nature’s Miracle and the light scent of Petzyme. It’s a sort of fruity-gum or cotton candy smelling? Either way it dissipates over a few days as it dries with a fan going in the room and it never stunk up the entire house or made me wish I had never poured it onto the carpet. The urine odor is not evident any longer (and not just because you’ve lost the ability to smell anything at all through the perfume) it’s been about a week at this point and the room is usable without finding yourself sniffing suspiciously at the air because you _think_ you still smell some urine. Don’t be shy about just soaking the spot and be patient as it air dries, the drying process is where the neutralization of urine proteins and bacteria occurs.

Works great in yard!
I have a small backyard with artificial grass. The smell can start get get a little strong after awhile, especially in the hot sun.I pour this all over the yard and the ammonia smell is instantly gone.

Finally ! Something that actually works!
Finally, something that works! No hard preparation either. This is not good for laminate floors. It works best if you saturate, and laminate will swell. I used this on my brick fireplace where my male-(my main problem) was marking his territory. I saturated the area and within a few hours the odor was completely gone. I am smell blind, so I had my daughter- who is never around animals, do a smell test for me and she couldn’t detect any odor two days later. The smell of the cleaner doesn’t overpower everything either, so after about 24 hours you aren’t left with the “I’m trying to cover up an odor” smell. Just a lightly scented smell that seems to be gone in a few days. I love this stuff! In a house with 12 cats it is a blessing!

This product did not eliminate cat urine odors in my rug. To be fair, my cat had urinated outside its litter box for 3 to 4 weeks before I used this product; so there was a lot of urine deposited. I tried mixing 1/3 of a gallon of this with 2 gallons of water and running it through my steam cleaner (for two runs using 2/3 of the gallon). I let it set for 30 minutes and then ran the steam cleaner with just hot water to pick up the residue. I went over the carpet 4 times on each spot. When it dried it still smelled, although perhaps 1/2 as strong. I then used the remaining 1/3 gallon in a spray bottle directly soaking the most pungent areas. I let it set overnight and again used the steam cleaner with hot water only to extract the residue. It has been a week now and the urine odor is still as strong (perhaps 50% of the original level). It’s still pretty gross.After using a gallon of this stuff and soaking the carpet multiple times, I expected the smell to be gone. I would not recommend this product.

This stuff is awesome. I have used other brands and nothing compares. I have a old dog who sometimes doesn’t make it out in time. I try to get as much of the pee up with a rag from the carpet before I apply the solution. I spray the area heavy wait the time recommended the and get the rest of the solution up with a different rag and its gone the smell and stain. I was surprised how well it works

Include spray nozzle please!
It should come with a spray nozzle. It is so thick that it doesn’t spray easily in a water spritzer. The odor is also so strong that it lingers in the room for days if not weeks.

We followed the instructions on the bottle to the letter …
We followed the instructions on the bottle to the letter. After shampooing a section of carpet, I sprayed it with the Advanced Pet Odor Eliminator and Stain Eliminator. Stains were not an issue, but the odor in our home was strong. I bought a gallon hand pump sprayer and applied the Odor Eliminator to a freshly cleaned carpet, waited an hour and then covered the entire area with clean towels. The true test came yesterday when I came in from outside and smelled the pet odor. It was not as strong, but it was still there. I will respray it this week again.

This stuff works like MAGIC! I’ve tried everything and nothing worked. I finally gave in and tried this. Worth every penny! Knocked the odor out and eliminated the pee smell on contact! I would give it 100 stars if I could. Going to buy more.
