I absolutely love this stainless-steel litter box! The size is perfect, roomy enough for my cat to turn around and dig comfortably without kicking litter everywhere. This is an excellent product! I’ve been looking for non-smelly, sleek looking litter box, and this one fits that bill. The metal seems to absorb less fragrances. Litter stays put no matter how much they kick it around. Clean up is super easy. Found the house was smelling a bit of kitty; once I replaced the hard plastic litter box with this metal product, the kitty aroma has since disappeared again! This is the second purchase. The kitty transitioned to the new box seamlessly. I recommend this product for sure!

I love the size of this litter pan, and the fact that the stainless steel pan is easily scooped and the dirty litter doesn’t stick to the pan. My cats like it and quickly picked started using it with no trouble. I have a black one, too, and I used the front flap for that one, but this one came broken and I can’t use the front flap. It’s still cheaper than purchasing it from a popular online pet product supplier!

I’m not sure about the XL label
Starting with the positive, this box is well made and all the pieces fit together perfectly. however it has some problems that need mentioning. The little tray for the front is pointless. Its so small they all just hop right over it. The other main issue i have is ith the cover on it, only a kitten could get into a proper squat position., unless they stick their head out the top opening. I have 5 cats, ranging from average to large sized and not a single one would stick their head through the top hole. When i saw my smallest little dude trying to poo and in an awkward haunched position with his head ducked down to fit under the lid and struggling… i immediately removed the lid. He quickly sat up into the proper squat position and had a much easier time moving things along. So now it stays with the lid off all the time. I appreciate the high walled sides at least, but i would worry for anyone’s cats having proper movements and their health if you plan to leave the lid on. Of course – this is assuming they refuse to stick their head up through the opening in the top.

We’ve had this for about 3 months now and love it, the stainless steel is easy to clean and the box feels really high quality. The only thing to watch for is that the step stool is a bit fragile and can crack easily if you accidentally put weight on it.

My cats seem to enjoy using this litter box. The stainless steel is great option on the inside. Nothing sticks to the walls. When they exit the topside litter tends to splash around. The front exit ramp litter catcher does slide on the floor so don’t expect it to stay unless it’s on carpet. You’d need some carpet or double sided tape to make it stay. Had to remove the swing door so my cats new they could use the front. Then put it back on for them.
