Make Sure You Ease Your Cat Into Taking This Supplement
Works well for our super-senior cat who also has allergies. And for those who are saying that their cat won’t eat their food with this supplement mixed in – start adding it to their food in small doses until you make your way to a full scoop. Our cat wouldn’t eat it the first couple of times we tried to give it to him so we tried again with a really small dose and that worked! After about a week or so he got used to the supplement and we could put a full scoop in his food. Also make sure to mix the supplement into wet food good. Cats don’t really like sudden changes to their food so you need to ease them into something new.

Why the L-lysine…?
I like this company but I would rather they would reconsider putting L-lysine in a daily supplement. L-lysine competes with L-arginine and L-arginine is necessary for immune function.L-lysine can be a helpful short-term support remedy. But very few cats would likely benefit from taking it on a daily basis. More of a kitchen sink approach than a therapeutic one.

Works after just two doses
This works wonderful! When my Kitty’s got a sneeze and a runny nose, I gave this to them and after just two doses their symptoms are gone. This is how I knew how well it worked. Now we give it every day.

This review is from experience with my cats. My cats do not like this. Unfortunately I wasted a bit of food til I finally stopped using this and now they’ll eat. I’m bummed as I’ve read positive reviews which led to want to try this product.

Will not buy this again.
My cat won’t eat her food when this is sprinkled on the food. Smells really strong.

I want to start this review by sharing a recent personal experience that involved this brand & this product.I have 2 rescue littermates who are now approximately 12 years old. One has always had GI issues, the causes of which have never been identified. Recently, his symptoms worsened, & at first I thought it would pass as they always have. However, that was not the case this time. They didn’t pass & a trip to the vet became necessary.I’m sure you’ve heard the expression, “When it rains, it pours” & what it means. So, after an appointment for a visit to the vet had been made, his littermate suddenly required one as well. And, for symptoms that were in many ways similar. I live in a large city in Canada where basically EVERYTHING is unaffordable & vet bills are no exception. Because I couldn’t be there with the cats, the vet had me on speaker phone talking me through both their appointments & I swear I could hear a “cha-ching” sound effect punctuating each sentence he uttered. As part of the treatment for the symptoms they had in common, a Probiotic was strongly suggested & one could be prescribed via the vet at a cost that, well, was very, very, costly. So, I wondered whether this product – Fera Pets Wellness Blend would work as it has probiotics. I gave the vet the details, & he looked them up right then, & suggested I give them a try seeing as the ones he had were nearly triple the cost. Now, I’m a member of the Vine Program, so I got this product free of charge in exchange for sharing my experience/s, thoughts, insight/s etc in review-form here. One of the questions I ask myself before posting my review is the following: Knowing what I know now about this product, would I be willing to purchase it with my own money? Well, in this case, the answer would be yes. Both of my cats refuse to eat ANYthing wet. Yes, I’ve tempted them with EVERYthing & they are simply not interested. They will only eat dry kibble from their bowls. So, I wasn’t sure how adding a dry powder to dry kibble would work. It didn’t sound particularly appetizing to me but I’m not rigid – at least not in my kibble eating habits, lol. I’m sounding light-hearted right now because they ate it. Both of my boys ate this product … dry.I didn’t dampen their food or even add a light sprinkling of water droplets to help make it more palatable for them, because they don’t want me to. They know what they like & want & so VERY fortunately for the three of us, they liked this product, they ate it, & I’m saving the best for last, the product’s probiotics WORKED!! Yes, Fera Pets Wellness Blend worked on both my guys’ guts, lol. Now, I’m not suggesting it will cure what ails your cat/s or anyone’s cats. I’m just saying it worked for what ailed my own. And, to conclude, that’s the reason why I answered yes to purchasing this product using my own money going forward.I want to add that this product is available as a Subscribe & Save option. This means if I use that method to purchase this product*, it will save me some money, & it will save me having to remember to order more before I run out, & if I ever need to pause, skip, or cancel the deliveries, I can do that without any penalties, or questions asked. It’s a win-win for me.*I use Subscribe & Save for any product that offers it as an option. If you’ve read this far – wow, I appreciate your determination & I hope something I said helped you make up your mind. Good luck with your feline friends, your fur babies, whatever you call free-loading roommates, lol. I sincerely wish them, & you, the very best of health.Note: the use of capital letters is for emphasis only.

I’m sure this probably works well for some, but my cats do tend to have sensitive stomachs. I was attracted to the ingredients and many different benefits this could have for them, and I researched it a bit. It seems to be a credible product, and I like all of the certifications and third party testing. I also like that you can check the batch numbers for their tests and that it was made by a vet.My cats vomited after consuming this and I didn’t feed them the recommended dose of a full scoop a day. They recommend starting with a smaller amount than the recommended dose, which, just to be safe, I gave a small bit of a single scoop, shared between 3 cats and they still puked. I may try it again and re-evaluate but it does make me nervous to feed my cats supplements, especially since it didn’t sit well with them. Also, it brings a handy scoop, but I wish it came separately and with something you could store it in so you didn’t have to dig it out of the jar, because it smells fiiiiiishy! I actually scoop it over the sink so it doesn’t get anywhere else and wash my hands immediately after. My cats seemed to like the smell of it though.

I started giving this to our 13-year-old indoor cat a few weeks ago, and I’m already noticing a positive change. He seems to be moving around more comfortably and even acting a little more playful and curious again — it’s like he has a bit of his old energy back!I really like that this supplement combines so many beneficial ingredients in one — things like taurine, lysine, green-lipped mussel, and probiotics — so it supports his joints, heart, and digestion all at once. The powder is super easy to mix into his wet food, and thankfully he eats it without any fuss (a small miracle for a picky senior cat).Overall, I’m really happy with this supplement and plan to keep using it as part of his daily routine. It feels good knowing it’s vet-formulated and made with high-quality ingredients. Definitely worth trying if you have an older cat who could use a little boost in their overall wellness.

While I haven’t noticed any major changes in my cats since starting this supplement, it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m supporting their health proactively. They take it easily as part of their daily routine, and I appreciate that it’s formulated specifically for feline wellness. Sometimes it’s about prevention—and this feels like a smart step in caring for them long-term. The smell is a bit strong, but they don’t seem to mind— its more me that minds I guess.
