SkinSmart’s Hypochlorous Acid may smell a bit like bleach, but it is NOT the same. The chemical formulas are completely different. SkinSmart is approved for use on eyelids—bleach is NOT.

Grandma always said that clean skin heals faster — and she was right!
It’s a little difficult to spray this directly onto affected skin unless the bottle is held at the right angle (spritzing this onto a washcloth or cosmetic round is less messy, and avoids having half the sprayed product landing on the floor). However, the manufacturer’s claim about a lot of eczema being caused by bacteria on the skin might actually be valid. Certainly, clean skin is generally a good thing in itself, and this product seems a lot like antiseptic sprays commonly used on minor wounds to prevent infection. The clincher for me, though, has been my husband’s comments on how much paler the discoloration on my eczema-prone lower legs appears, since I started using the SkinSmart spray. My legs still itch occasionally, but not as often or for as long, and I have noticed that, when I do scratch, the flakes of skin are far smaller, and generally not extensive enough for me to scratch my skin raw, the way I used to do sometimes.Users are instructed to allow the SkinSmart spray to air-dry before applying moisturizers, so I usually will read a page or two from a book before reaching for whichever cream or lotion I’m using. I am quite pleased with how the skin on my eczema-prone legs has improved, and I will be ordering this product again when I run out. Highly recommended!

This product is a literal miracle spray. I am still amazed!
I have had a small 1″ spot on my skin for nearly 4 years that has plagued me day and night. It would itch so bad that it would wake me up at night, and I would loose sleep. And, sometimes I would scratch it so bad that my skin would bleed. Honestly, it was a nightmare.So, when I saw this product had such high ratings, I thought I would take a chance. I am so glad I did, because in a few applications the itch was gone. Then after several days of use, the spot was gone. I could not believe it.I have been consistently using it for about a week or so just to make sure the spot won’t return.I just thought I would leave a quick review, because this product has removed a small nightmare from my life. I don’t think I have ever been more pleased with a product before.

Has Definitely Improved A Very Bad Patch Of Eczema, But Has Not Knocked It Out.
I have a pretty bad eczema patch on the back of my arm. I’ve had doctors look at it and prescribe ointments with no real positive effect. I saw this and figured I would give it a shot. I apply it at least once a day in the AM and always after a shower. It has definitely helped to reduce the eczema, but it has not completely knocked it out. If it had, I would have given this 5-stars, but since it has not…four stars. Still an improvement over what I started with.

Skin Cleared under 24 hours!
My teenage daughter made the softball team and after a week of practices and games with her new helmet her skin started to breakout in red itchy patches and it grew quickly. (not acne, definitely some kind of eczema) We tried emuaid daily, (something that has worked on dry itchy skin many times before but it didn’t help at all) and of course we cleaned the helmet “padding” many times but nothing helped…. after some research, I found this SkinSmart spray….. I WISH i had Before and After pictures….. but I SWEAR… It was healed OVERNIGHT! We had her wash her face with soft face cleansing wipes right after her game and then we sprayed her face twice (once around dinner time and another before bed) everything was gone the next day….. I’m sure the longer you have the rash, the longer it’ll take to clear up… BUT IT WORKS!!!! To give you an idea, my daughter’s rash lasted about 3 weeks and was gone in less than 24 hours!!!

It works! I’ve been dealing with extreme itchy skin for months with on two-year-old and her eczema she will not stop itching agter steriods and expensive creams, fancy soaps.. nothing! I bought this out of desperation and I was just spraying it on her problem areas and after a few days she really stopped scratching and she stopped for weeks! Now once in a while she’ll scratch, but I’ll spray some and she’ll stop scratching almost instantly ! I can’t tell you whats in this that actually stops her from scratching however sometimes she does complain and whine before i spray it? Maybe the antibacterial properties? I’ve sprayed it on myself and I don’t feel anything but I don’t have eczema.

I’m not sure if this is proven way to get rid of severe eczema
So far it’s supposed to work but I can’t tell if it does it’s only been 4 days? It doesn’t have a good smell but maybe that means it will work I have no idea yet

Helps with little red flare ups for 8 year old. stops the pain and itch and I assume helps to avoid more problems if it kills the bacteria.
