Makes a great topper
Too small for training, but great meal topper. Super fussy dog will eat kibble with this sprinkled on top. Good price as a little sprinkle is all you need.

Gentle on a sensitive stomach
Our dog has a really sensitive stomach and these have never bothered her! I actually need to buy more because we use them in her cognitive toys and they work great since they’re so little and she can have more than a few without diarrhea. Great for training!

Perfect treats for training
These are the best training treats. The price is great on Amazon. My dogs love these treats and they are the perfect size to motivate your dog without upsetting their sensitive bellies. The treats are tiny cubes. My senior doesn’t have a lot of teeth but can chew and digest them easily. Both of my dogs go crazy for these. They don’t smell good to me but my dog goes bonkers for them. We use them as training rewards.

We had purchased Caledon Farms Beef Liver Bites for our dog and she loved them. When I tried to purchase them again (this order) the ones described as “bites” were not available and instead the current formulation was found. They appeared to be otherwise the same with a medium size dog on the cover, just as in the originals we bought, but when I opened up the package I was disappointed to discover these pieces are each only a fraction of the size of the originals. There is no way we could use these individually as training treats. They are just too tiny. Our dog still likes the taste but I would have to give a multitude of them at a time rather than individually. In light of the fact that this bag holds only 3.7 ounces while the original held 5.3 ounces is also of concern. This bag of treats would not last very long at all with our 29 pound dog.I was willing to purchase these because our dog liked the original beef liver bites so much, but she would finish this bag in no time. Sadly, I won’t be buying these again. At only 3.7 oz of treats that are so tiny they are likely to last only a brief time. I need to find an alternative.As for as taste and freshness I believe it is still a good product. The ingredients, too, appear to be of good quality. Also, it is made in Canada, not China, and that is also a plus. But as I said above, there is just too little and the pieces too small for me to see that as a product i would buy again.

Good but small
I love that these are made with few ingredients. My dog likes them. However, they are very very small. My dog is a mini schnauzer, and they are even very small for her. These would not work for bigger dogs.
