Perfect for large dogs that would rather inhale than chew
My two pit mixes are around 65-70 pounds and inhale everything. It makes it hard to keep their teeth clean. Every “dental” chew gets one bite then gulp. The difference in their teeth now is amazing, I’m so happy and I put them on a subscription.Here’s a note for the reviewers that don’t seem to understand dogs, or physics. They “crack and splinter, dangerous”. They are BONES, what do you expect them to do, dissolve? When my dogs get them down to a small size or fracture a piece off, I throw them out. Dogs have been chewing bones since the dawn of time, yours will be fine.”They don’t last long. only a few hours”. That IS a long time. And plenty to entertain your dog and clean their teeth.

My dogs love these bones!!
These bones are perfect for keeping our 11 month old puppy occupied on the rare occasion that we have to crate him. He was recently traumatized by a very mean dog trainer and we have to show him the crate is fun. These bones are the answer. He absolutely loves them. They don’t last long but he loves them!!!

How to kill your dog…
My dog has broken 5 of these marrow bones in less than 2 minutes. Sharp fragments all over! They could have killed my dog! Thankfully I was watching and was able to pick up the shards before one of them killed her! Splintered into very sharp pieces! Oh and by the way, not a speck of marrow in ANY BONE in this bag! Total death trap! I’ve written to the company, no response so far. Please DO NOT BUY! If I could file a police report for attempted murder I sure would. Save your money and your beloved dog! DO NOT PURCHASE!! JUST LOOK AT THIS PICTURE!! UGH!!

Our dog loves these
Our dog loves these! He gets all the flavor off of them in around 3 days though, and sometimes breaks them into pieces that require throwing away immediately. He’s a golden doodle, so definitely does not have the jaw strength of a pit bull, but I understand that they are real bones and I guess breaking into pieces is a possibility. 4 stars because he loves them, but they are a little pricey considering how long they last for us.

Sharp splinters
I will say the insides of the bones were full of marrow– but after a very short time if supervised heavy chewing by our Auggie, the bones were splintered and the floor was covered w tiny needle like bones. He loved the bones but once marrow and outside coatings were gone, I had to quickly hide them along w all the slivers. I had hoped that this would be something to keep him occupied while I work and last a while.

ANTS ALL IN PACKAGING
This was delivered to my front porch. I collected the package about 2 hours later when I got home. There was a gaping hole in the manufacturer packaging (the bone bag) and the box was filled with ants! I don’t even have an ant issue on my porch. I order treats often and have never had this issue.
