Nature’s Miracle® has been a trusted brand for pet mess cleanup for more than 35 years. Whatever pets do, you can trust Nature’s Miracle pet stain and odor removers and disinfectants to undo. Accidents happen, as every cat owner knows. Nature’s Miracle® Urine Destroyer Plus for cats is an enzymatic formula that’s tough on strong cat urine and the yellow, sticky residue it leaves behind. The ready-to-use spray bottle makes cleanup a breeze. The bacteria-based formula produces enzymes when it comes into contact with a food source like pet urine. This enzymatic cleaner continues working as long as the food source is present to break down and power out tough messes. For use on carpets, hard floors, furniture, fabrics and more when used and stored as directed. Do not use on untreated hardwood, leather, suede, silk or wool specialty fabrics. Always use this product at full strength. Just soak the affected area, allow to work for 15 minutes, then blot up stain with a clean cloth. For tough odors, re-treat by thoroughly soaking affected area and allowing to air dry. When used and stored as directed, this product is safe to use around your pets and in your home. Always use Nature’s Miracle products first. Other cleaners and detergents may fail and chemically “set” stains that will be impossible to remove.

    Worth the money!
We bought a house that we know had at least 1 cat, more likely upwards of 10 cats. And it SMELLED AWFUL. We spent days cleaning and it still smelled of cat. I purchased Nature’s Miracle and was very pleased with how well it worked. I just pulled it out of the box and sprayed all along the walls and floor and went over the bad spots more than once. I didn’t use it to remove any stains, but worked hard at getting rid of the smell and it definitely worked. I paired this spray with odor absorbers and other cleaning supplies so I’m not positive that it was this specific spray that did the trick but it certainly did a lot of the heavy lifting. I still have 3 more bottles of it to use if the smell comes back but so far, so good!

    In the grip…
Our cat is getting old, and we are forced to choose between massively disrupting her quality of life, or dealing with an accident from time to time, from place to place. This works well enough that I’m hopeful for the future of our furniture. Is it a perfect shining silver bullet? No. But urine is tricky for different reasons than almost any other stain, and we are resourceful with stains. This stuff helps get past that urine-specific odor.It seems well known that almost every urine cleaning product leaves behind a smell of its own. My ideal is for a bed, or cushion, or couch, or chair, or carpet, to smell like nothing at all. Clean air. This stuff has an odor, but it’s not bad, greatly preferable to urine, and with the help of some rinsing cycles, seems possible to dissipate.I’ve already bought a couple more gallons. 🫰

Useful and keeps cats from marking
After moving into a new house, my cats became anxious, and one started urinating on a rug out of stress. This spray worked great to remove the odor completely and has actually helped deter them from going back to that same spot. I even used it on a secondhand car window that had other cats’ scent on it, after cleaning with this, my cats stopped sniffing and marking it altogether. The spray comes out evenly and there’s a generous amount in the bottle. It has a surprisingly pleasant scent definitely better than what it’s covering! Smells fresh and clean again after fully washing. I did a color test on carpet and couch and no stain or sign that it was used. I also like that it’s enzymatic, so it breaks down odors at the source instead of just masking them like other products. Highly recommend for multi-cat households or stressful transitions like moving!

    This stuff is a lifesaver
Update 10/3/24: I’m removing a star because they recently started adding these stickers that make it extremely difficult to open the bottle. Stop doing this. It’s annoying and I can’t open it.If you’re here because you abhor the smell of cat urine, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve been using Nature’s Miracle products for years, so here are some tips if you’re looking for a good urine remover. You can trust this review, as it was written by someone with 5 cats – 4 who are kittens, and exploring peeing other places than their litter box. Also, the story about my friend below is what got me really using and trusting this product more. He had so much cat pee built up on his hardwood floors and was able to remove it with this product. I am a fanatic about this cleaner. Please read on for everything you need to know about how to use this product correctly!1. You won’t be able to remove cat urine from anything without an enzymatic cleaner. So here you have it, this is an enzymatic cleaner. This is the product you need. There are other enzyme cleaners out there, but why trust the rest when you have the best?I’ve had others try to tell me to use baking soda or peroxide or some other combination of things can remove cat urine. The bottom line is – no they can’t.Why? Because only enzymes can break down the uric acid in cat urine. Read that again – *only enzymes* can break down the uric acid in cat urine. This product is designed with specific enzymes to do just that.Other cleaners just clean the surface layer, but if the urine has sunk into lower layers of fabric, wood, foam, cement, or any other surface, the smell WILL come back to haunt you. You MUST break down the uric acid crystals to completely get rid of the smell of cat urine.2. DO NOT DILUTE IT. This product is not as effective when diluted. If you have a big area or item to clean, don’t add water to stretch the product. Your item will still smell like urine and you’ll have wasted your money. Simply buy more of the product. Renters and landlords, I’m looking at you…3. If cat pee has soaked down into layers beneath the surface (on your fabric, wood, foam, cement, etc.), it is only logical that the cleaner MUST soak down to that level to reach the pee and break up the uric acid.So what does this mean? If you’re not getting results the first time using the product, you didn’t leave it on long enough, or you didn’t let it soak down deep enough. Apply more. Leave it on longer. Be patient. It works.4. For clothing, I recommend spraying the item until it’s fairly wet. Let it sit 3 days to have time to work and break up the urine. Then, I personally run it through the washer twice with no detergent, and a third time with detergent. Don’t wash it with any other clothes – just throw it in by itself, even if it’s a small load. You should be safe to dry your item after the third wash, but if you have any doubts, start over because the dryer can set it pee stains that are harder to get out. Personally, I avoid the dryer and hang dry my items. After, I check for any lingering smell. If it still smells a little, start over. Normally clothes come clean after this method once, but I’ve had a few fabrics hang onto the smell a bit so I repeat these steps and it does the trick.5. For floors and hard surfaces, completely drench the area with solution. Since you want to allow the solution to soak down as deep as the cat pee, I recommend putting a towel or hand towel over the affected area and letting it soak over the spot for about a week. A friend of mine had wood floors over a cement foundation and did this method. It took time and a decent bit of solution, but the smell was completely gone by the time he was done. When in doubt, apply more. Leave it on longer. Be patient. It works.6. For furniture, it’s a given that pee will have soaked down into the cushions. Like the steps for floors and hard surfaces, you want to apply enough solution to soak down as deep as the cat pee. Since you can’t throw couch cushions in the washer, you will just have to leave the solution on and wait for it to dry. You can also remove couch cushion covers and follow the steps for clothing. I have even sprayed this on a small spot on my down duvet, left it alone to dry for two days, and the pee smell and the scent of the spray is completely gone. The scent: I’ve seen some reviews that people don’t like the smell of this solution. I have used both the store bought smaller bottles as well as the larger bottle (this item) and the smell just smells like a normal chemical product. The good thing about it is the smell doesn’t last. When I have used it on laundry items, it’s there for a little bit after the items are clean, but it dissipates and just smells like nothing later. So if you’re worried about lingering smell, there isn’t one. It dissipates *completely* with time. Plus, if you ask me, anything is better than the smell of cat urine!

My favorite and I’ve tried many.
I swear by this stuff with an epiletic kitty. Clean up the mess, soak it in this and let it sit for an hour. Clean it up again, soak it, let it dry completely. Clean it up again and spritz and let it dry. If you still smell anything do another Clean, soak, dry, clean, spritz, dry. I also add a little to my mop water on the regular and the pet bedding wash and when I empty the litter box for a litter change, I spray the box and let it dry before adding new litter. We have 3 cats and people who visit say they’d never know if they didn’t see them.

Might be good but wastes a lot of product and it’s pricey
This seems to work? Not sure I just soaked my laundry and put it to wash but we will see if it truly removes the cat urine. I have 4 cats, 1 of them is new to the family and he’s a boy, he is fixed but I think he might be the one that’s spraying on my boyfriends clothes and side of the bed. We had to soak the mattress on his side and the sheets, it seemed to cover the stench but not sure if when everything dries if it works, I’ll update. I only gave 3 stars because of the price and the fact that the product needs to be soaked. They need to remake this product so that you can use it in the washer because soaking it wastes too much product and it’s not cheap. I spent $33 just for it to be mostly gone after one cat urine episode. I think they’re able to make a concentrated laundry safe version but don’t want to because they make more money off of the product being wasted after a couple uses.

Product worked as described. We used it on a leather recliner with no discolouration. One use and the scent was gone.

I LOVE THIS STUFF.It has a wide, fine mist spray, and the nozzle doesn’t drip.It has a minty basil smell, much better than others that reek of citrus forever. Even if it does linger, the smell of the pee has actually been neutralised. So far I’ve used it on couches (very old accidents that hadn’t been successfully neutralised), rugs, in my washing machine as a prewash, on synthetic floorboards, and to clean out the litter box. This just suits the job so much better than the others. Subscribed for regular 3 month deliveries, as I am already pulling it out weekly.
