Double entry points
I like the size and shape of this litterbox. It keeps some litter from escaping on the sides, but not the front. My metal scooper doesn’t fit into the side carrier so maybe I’ll try the one it came with. I bought it because I have a male cat who might start harassing my girl cat so I needed the two-hole entry for easy escape. I am currently using a plastic liner so I haven’t had to scoop on the metal yet but I think it will be better than the plastic. The two things I don’t like are that the front part of the lid doesn’t bend back very easily, and feels fragile. Secondly, the plastic door flap arrived broken so I don’t have the option to use it if I want. Overall it is unique in the double-entry access so I’m glad I bought it, but otherwise I might look for something a little better quality.

Upgraded litter box
This is an excellent product! I’ve been looking for non-smelly, sleek looking litter box, and this one fits that bill. The metal seems to absorb less fragrances. Litter stays put no matter how much they kick it around. Clean up is super easy. Found the house was smelling a bit of kitty; once I replaced the hard plastic litter box with this metal product, the kitty aroma has since disappeared again! This is the second purchase. The kitty transitioned to the new box seamlessly. I recommend this product for sure!

Urine still escapes
Cat urine escapes through seams. I have two large country cats. One cat goes standing and not squatting. I bought this and another stainless litter boxes hoping they would work as advertised. Unfortunately the floor beneath the box is still wet with urine. I checked to make sure it was assembled correctly, which it was. Now after spending close to $200 on two stainless boxes, I bought a larger triangular plastic box which seems to do the trick. So far no leaking. Idk maybe it’s because they have more room in it? I’ll may try to put a bead of caulk at the seam to be able to use these but I wont bother at this point since the plastic corner box works so well. Also that will make cleaning more difficult. Live and learn.

We’ve had this for about 3 months now and love it, the stainless steel is easy to clean and the box feels really high quality. The only thing to watch for is that the step stool is a bit fragile and can crack easily if you accidentally put weight on it.

My cats seem to enjoy using this litter box. The stainless steel is great option on the inside. Nothing sticks to the walls. When they exit the topside litter tends to splash around. The front exit ramp litter catcher does slide on the floor so don’t expect it to stay unless it’s on carpet. You’d need some carpet or double sided tape to make it stay. Had to remove the swing door so my cats new they could use the front. Then put it back on for them.
