Fantastic Puzzle Activity for Young Kids!
The Learning Resources STEM Explorers Pixel Art Challenge is an absolute hit in our house! Although it’s recommended for ages 5+, we got it for our 4-year-old daughter who loves puzzles, and she absolutely loves this activity. It’s easy enough for her to do on her own and keeps her engaged for a long time. The set is super easy to assemble, and the quality is great. I also love that it comes with multiple picture options, so there’s plenty of variety to keep her entertained. The brightly colored foam blocks make it easy to see and create vibrant, fun designs.Another huge plus is that the blocks are foam, not magnetic, so we don’t have to worry about magnets being around our younger child. This is such a thoughtful and safe design feature.Highly recommend this for any little one who enjoys puzzles, challenges, and learning through play. Great value for your money and an overall wonderful product!

Great for strong learners.
Learning Resources never disappoints in the durability of their items. My students love using this to activity and they don’t even realize they are learning, they just know they are having fun! It is great for challenging their brain to think outside of the box and work. The box is great for storage.

This is awesome!
My kids LOVE these! I have three kids ages 5-9 and they all love playing with these! They made a fun, educational and affordable gift thank each kid enjoyed in their own way. My oldest is a rule follower so she’s follow the prompt to the “T” where my five year old is super independent and creative and loves making things that she saw in her mind. Assembly is practically non existent which we LOVE in our busy household and it’s awesome that we found something that they all love despite the age gaps.

Using in my classroom!
This product is great for many ages! I love the different levels of challenges provided in the book. I think it is well made and plan to use it at my school. Two things I would change. One, the pieces are foam so they don’t always sit well in the grid and can easily be poked or torn up (wood would be better). Two, I would love to see more challenges offered. There are only like 5-6 of each level.

Super cute!
Got this to donate to Toys for Tots and it looked super cute! all the pieces seemed there and it looked like it kids would have alot of fun with it. Overall the build seemed sturdy for being a small inexpensive toy. Its definitely educational and has some really cool papers to go with it. I would recommend this for Kindergarten and up kids. The pieces are small and to really enjoy it you need to read some of the steps

Fun for olders, but not worth the price.
Good idea, poor QC. The board is well made and the ideas in the booklet are fun. It starts off with showing how the pictures are made and the number of blocks needed to make the picture and progresses in complexity of design to instructions that would make a middle schooler think. The problem comes from the foam blocks they included. While some of them fit into the slots, a lot were either too large or too small. The foam is only 9mm high when the slots are supposed to be 10mm. Also, some of the cuts in the foam weren’t complete or were too large at 10.5mm. The foam itself is also too lightweight for ease of use and pop out of the slots way too easily.Since I have a 3D printer, I printed out all the cubes in the appropriate colors. This allowed my son to still have fine dexterity but was more forgiving in placement since I made the blocks 9.9mm cubed and they weighed more than the foam ones.I only recommend this product to kids older than 7-8 since the foam is too lightweight or if you have a 3D printer to make your own blocks. I’d also only buy this product if it was $20 or less. The quality isn’t worth a higher premium.

This activity is a house favorite!
A house favorite! My kids can sit for hours doing the different pixel art designs and I love it because it’s so much better than staring at a screen.

Product only comes with 1 board, not 3 as the misleading image on the box implies
