I have a standard Poodle who absolutely adores all of his Brightkins puzzles!
Brightkins Tic-Tac-Toe Treat PuzzleI have a standard Poodle who absolutely adores all of his Brightkins puzzles! I work from home and they help so much with his boredom while I work an 8 hr shift. All of them have met and exceeded my quality and durability expectations, including this Tic-Tac-Toe puzzle. With all products I give to my dog, I thoroughly wash them before giving to my pet for safety. He hasn’t been tempted to chew them up, but they are not chewable so that is a plus. This puzzle was a little more challenging for him, and kept him entertained between 15 and 20 minutes. That is a few minutes more than some of his other puzzles that he has had a while and knows how to solve. Regardless, he still plays with them all and gets so happy when he sees me washing one in the sink, because he knows it’s playtime. They tend to get dirty from paws so I wash frequently. He has food allergies so I can only use his normal dog food in them- the slots hold 4-5 pieces of his kibble. He loves these puzzles and they are made much better than another brand I tried in the past, and are more durable, but priced about the same, making these a clear front runner in our home as a favored product.

My Dog Loves This Treat Puzzle!
My dog loves this toy and I’m so glad because I wasn’t sure what she would think. Her typical toys are soft plushies or hard bones, but she’s never really had a toy she had to work at before. Now, she’s a bloodhound, so she has an unfair smelling advantage, so that could be why it’s easy for her to use! Once she realized that there were treats under the sliding pieces, she was curious as to how to get them out. I showed her how they slide, and she picked up on it fairly quickly. Although at first she kept trying to bite the pieces off to get underneath! She loves playing with it and uncovering the treats each time. She continues to slide the pieces around until every last bit is gone. She hasn’t tried to chew on it, but the material is fairly durable, so it holds up and hasn’t left any marks on the puzzle. So, bonus points for good chewability. It’s easy to clean after every few uses, as she doesn’t slobber too much, which is surprising. I just take a Clorox wipe to it and rinse, and any remnants of crumbs or drool come right off. I’m so happy I ordered this because it’s a quality toy and a great value.

Solid entry level treat puzzle for smaller or maybe medium sized dogs
This was a great first treat puzzle for my dog. It’s well made for this type of item and the squares have just the right amount of resistance so that they don’t slide around on their own, but are easy enough for my dog to move with his nose or paws once he figures out what he’s supposed to do. I will say that he’s an older, under twenty pound dog and since this is a relatively small puzzle feeder compared to some, I’m not sure I’d recommend it for a bigger, stronger dog. I could tell my dog’s first instinct was to just get his mouth in there and chomp the plastic squares right out of the way or chew right through them to get to the food… he’s not really big enough or strong enough to do this but I can imagine that it might not stand up to a big hungry dog trying to access his food. For us, this does just what I’d hoped, which is slow my dog down when eating while hopefully providing a little entertainment value to boot.

Fun tic tac toe treat puzzle for pets
This tic tac toe treat puzzle works well for my rabbits. They are experienced with snuffle mats and puzzle toys so this was not difficult for them to figure out. They only have to dig at a square along the direction of the tracks to move the piece aside. Enough digging will win them a treat. They don’t really have any tactic other than digging and if that fails throw the whole puzzle but they are enjoying themselves. The puzzle comes as two pieces. There is the main puzzle with sliding pieces and an additional tic tac toe square that sits on top of the open square. Using the additional square is essentially setting the game on easy mode if you put the treats in the empty square. Then your pet only has to remove the piece to get their treats. The game is made of plastic and silicone. It wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. My bunnies are having fun with this tic tac toe toy. It is well made, the pieces slide well, and it can be played on easy or hard mode.

Quick and Easy Puzzle for Your Dog to Solve – Tiny Food Cups, Difficult to Wash Well
The Brightkins Tic-Tac-Toe Treat Puzzle was an easy puzzle for little Finnegan Von Floof. The puzzle is small but well made, and it didn’t take long for my dog to figure out how to solve it. The puzzle pieces moves smoothly, the treat openings are large enough for a few pieces of kibble, and you can make the puzzle marginally harder by adding a block in the “open space”. Each piece slides well with the push of a nose or scratch of a paw, and it’s easy enough for beginners. The design of the puzzle is average. If you fill the spaces with wet food, it can be difficult to clean as you have to slide each puzzle piece to access the openings. As far as entertainment value goes, my dog liked this puzzle because it was very easy for him to solve. It’s a good value if you’re trying to get your dog into food puzzles, and worth offering to your favorite pup.

Durable and fun
This puzzle has a sturdy plastic build with a simple grid layout that is easy for dogs to interact with. The compartments slide smoothly without sticking, and the removable block adds an extra layer of difficulty if you want to vary the challenge. The bright colors make it easy to see which sections are open or closed, and the bottom has a stable base that doesn’t shift around much during use. The size suits small and medium dogs especially well, although larger dogs can still work with it as long as they’re gentle. The pieces don’t have sharp edges and feel durable enough for repeated use. It’s a good option for slowing down feeding or giving short bursts of mental stimulation during the day. Overall, it’s a straightforward enrichment puzzle that seems to hold up well and keeps dogs engaged without being overly complicated.
