Favorite litter by far!
I have had many cats over the years and tried about every litter on the market from crystals to pine to standard clays and clumping. I mean EVERY type of litter and brand. This is my favorite so far! Pros: clumps well with less “gooey” clumps that tend to form when my cat goes near the edge of the box, which is often. He’s really big, weighs about 18-19 lbs, and he’s a big water drinker. Always has been, it’s not a health issue. So he goes a lot. Not little clumps you see in the ads, more like the size of a baseball. This litter does a way better job of absorbing it than most others. There is literally no smell, no perfume cover up, no cloying dust smell, no feces smell (if he decides to cover it up that day), and absolutely no urine odor. I use a large stainless steel pan (another game changer as it doesn’t hold any odors like plastic does) due to his size and I put the entire box in when I start fresh. I do scoop daily and replenish a bit once a week. I can get 3-4 weeks out of 2 boxes of litter before I dump and clean the pan to start fresh again. The only con is the price but then again, the pros are worth a little extra cost to me. It makes life easier, my nose happier, and my cat uses it, unlike some others he hated (crystals were not a hit for either of us). I’m on subscription for this one now. Get it. You won’t regret it.

Good Cat Litter
I use this in my automatic cat box and works well. I don’t smell any bad odors and it doesn’t give off dust. My cat seems to like it. 🙂 The box is heavy and a little hard to open but I’m 65 and not that strong. But still happy with it overall.

Traps odor
This cat litter is the only thing that keeps their closet from smelling like cat pee. I have 2 cats and 2 large litter boxes. I scoop them both every 2-3 days because it’s just part of my routine. It’s INCREDIBLY good at trapping odor. It is a little dusty when you pour it but oh well. It’s clumps nicely and stays clumped. Also so important to get unscented. Will never try a fragranced litter.

Clumps well but odor control could be better
This litter clumps really well, making scooping quick and easy. I like that it’s unscented, which is better for my cat’s sensitive nose. However, it doesn’t do much to mask or control the odor, especially after a couple of days. I was hoping for better performance in that area since it’s labeled as “advanced.” It’s still a solid option if you’re mainly looking for good clumping without added fragrances. Just be prepared to change it out more frequently to keep smells down.

Cats Love it! This Cat Daddy does, too!
I’ve tried them all and this has been the best for my cats past and present. Cats seem to like the texture and there’s good coverage. This litter kills the stink, and with a mat under it, Phoebe tracks very little into the rest of the house.It’s a little heavy to carry, but i scoop every day so I don’t have to empty the box completely more than a few times a year. Clumping litter keeps spills and messes from occurring.One last thing, the unscented version is the best! I have Lysol spray if there’s any unpleasant odors left. I detest the smell of Gain or lilac, which seems to be popping up in a lot of products. Gain makes my skin red and burns my eyes. Lilac is just icky.The real thing to avoid is any and every Febreeze product or additive. That stuff is just a bundle of carcinogenic chemicals that get absorbed instantly upon touching skin. Consider how it might harm a little creature 1/20th your size if they were digging around in scented litter five times daily.Good value, no carcinogens, easy to scoop, and the Phoebes doesn’t complain. Sold!

Fresh litter for cats
My cats and I love this litter! It’s gentle, unscented, and keeps everything smelling fresh without that heavy perfume a lot of litter brands have. It clumps beautifully and makes daily cleaning simple. I’ve definitely noticed a cleaner box and happier cats.

Unscented Litter
I really appreciate this litter. Love that it’s unscented. Unscented is hard to find. Moisture retention allows clumping to work well. If I use any other litter, it sticks to her paws, and she tracks the litter outside the box…even into another room. Fresh Step stays inside the litter box. The weight and price of the litter is comparable to any other litter. I recommend this litter.

I ended up replacing it.
It’s not a bad litter. I do believe it did a good job of reducing tracking. However the weird thing was the level of airborne dust was higher than I’m used to. Just doing my routine scooping was uncomfortable. So I imagined what the cats felt like in there. I replaced it after a couple of weeks. This new brand seems to have low dust tracking as well as low airborne dust.

I’ll need to find an alternative soon.I’ve tried 4 different types of cat litter since getting my cat, including pretty litter.Here’s what I love about this litter:Dust freeODOUR CONTROL – I live in a small, one bedroom apartment and my litter is in one of those “hidden” litter boxes that is disguised as a side table in the corner of my apartment. You can imagine how important it is for me to stay on top of the cat litter for one and two for the litter to control odour.Previously, I’d empty the box every day and STILL there would be a scent of urine & fake scent coming from the corner. With Fresh Step Advanced, no odour at all with my regular cleaning. I will never go back!

Compre esta arena porque tenia buenos reviwes, estaba lista para que el olor de los gatos se filtrara de mas en la casa porque es pequeña, pero no, realmente solo huele cuando hacen, pero despues de un rato, deja de oler, claro que debe limpiarse diario.La absorción del orin es excelente se hace como una piedra grande, pero las heces si son muy liquidas – mi gata es muy grande ya – no las absorbe mucho y es necesario dejar que se dejen un rato en lo que se les pega la arena bien, de lo contrario se embarra en la pala.Las normales, si el gato las cubre bien, es muy facil de recojer.Es un poco polvosa eso si, no lo suelta pero si tu gato tira mucho la arena cuando sale o cuando rasca mejor compra un tapete. No se les queda en sus patitas, y tampoco les deja olor en el pelo.
