Exceeded expectations!
I looked at DOZENS of these feeders and spent HOURS AND HOURS reading reviews. There were a few not so good reviews on this one , but I took a chance anyway. And I’m so glad I did !We were looking for an automatic feeder with WiFi for our mostly outdoor cat. (Feral turned not so feral) I wanted a feeder that I could set up for when we go away and I could monitor how much food was being dropped and when. Trying to avoid feeding the neighborhood cats, possum, and there’s four raccoons that like to toss his food bowl around. We always have someone come feed him when we are away and spend time with him each day so he doesn’t think we left him. That being said, this feeder has exceeded all expectations! We recently went away for two weeks. This arrived 3 days prior to our trip – so I only tested it those few days before leaving. Very easy to set up. The portions are small (one portion is maybe a couple tablespoons) so just play around with the portion size and how many times a day to equal the amount your feeding. I set it up under the outdoor table on our porch and bungee chord it to the table leg in hopes of making it difficult for the raccoons to carry away. The lid locks tight ! I have trouble opening it myself ! I set my outdoor camera on it so I can view the feeder, who’s eating at it, and see if I need to manually drop food. Works flawlessly. The battery backup is perfect in case there’s a power outage.The cat sitter still came and checked to make sure the cat was ok , and the feeder was good.Yesterday we had an overnight stay at the hospital 2 hrs away for my husbands cancer treatment and I didn’t have to worry about the cat being fed this morning before getting home.If you’re on the fence about getting this , I say hit that order button !

Really nice feeder, be careful with the batteries you choose to use, we used the wrong voltage, but the company is accommodating by sending a new feeder. It is great for when we travel, functions well, and was a good value for the cost . I look forward to receiving my new feeder!

Solid product, canister needs to be more secured
Super helpful for having an outside cat to get updates on coming/going. The camera is awesome to make sure you’re feeding the right creature(s). Easy to set up. Only issue is the food canister doesn’t completely lock to the base and thus is easy to tip over by a hungry animal.Update after a few weeks:If the feeder is supported by moving it into a corner it is much harder to tip over; easy fix. The biggest issue now is that the app constantly crashes. Decent product, terrible app. The speaker is low quality, but who cares? Not like you need to leave your cat a voicemail, just a friendly way to draw attention.

WORKS FOR GUINEA PIGS
So I wanted to try this machine for my girls. I haven’t seen any reviews from others mentioning Guinea pigs, but there’s a first for everything. I filled it with pellets. Works perfectly. 1 whole bag of pellets fit the container perfectly. Now my girls wheel when they hear the machine go off. I just wish I could figure out a way to lock the food bin in place because they constantly knock it to the side. I’ll find a way. It was easy to set up the machine and the camera is really good. Hopefully my review inspired other piggy owners to get it. Just keep the wire outside of the cage so they don’t bite it and keep it dry. Well with the money I paid.

Do not buy! Messed up my WiFi multiple times
Do not buy! This device constantly messed up my (WiFi). since installation yesterday. It happened multiple times and since it disconnection, the WiFi hasn’t had a problem. If it didn’t interfere with my WiFi, it would’ve been a good device to feed my cat. It has good video resolution.Update: I think this device has malware. I’ve never had a connected device constantly shut down my WiFi like this one. The 2nd issue is that the cloud service doesn’t allow an option to cancel (even though it’s says “cancel anytime”) especially you don’t want to purchase a plan after the 30 day trial period. I assume you have to call their customer support which is a pain.

Best Pet Feeder Ever
SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS! I’m able to feed and watch my little fur baby when I’m away from home. I love the option to set timers, portions, and the ability to record and take pictures on the app. I was able to record a message for my sweet fur angel every time it’s feeding time so she knows mommy loves her. I’ve caught some great and funny videos of her running to the dish when the timer goes off. If I feel bad or just want to see her the option to give food (any portion size) is fantastic! Get this, you will not regret it!

This is good for what it was made to do, but not secure enough to avoid roaches
I bought this item some time last year. This cat feeder worked very well, I had no issues with it. It was quite and the food didn’t get stuck. But after several months after purchase, I can’t remember how many months, but I was cleaning my cat food area and I lift this cat feeder up and there were loads of roaches enbedded in the battery area and any feature that maintained a design whole. I don’t like roaches and I keep a clean home and this irritated me more than anything. I able to kill all the roaches, so I thought. I placed this item on counter of my bathroom sink and they were still falling out but I couldn’t figure out from where. I had no choice but to throw this feeder out. What a waste of my money? So, no I do not recommend buying this item unless they change the design so that roaches cannot get inside. The funny part to this design is that designed to sit flat on the floor with the exception of the 4 studs in the bottom that gives free access to the roaches.I would’ve taken a pic to show but the roaches would probably infest my phone. Now, I’m on the hunt for a roach free automatic feeder.

Nota: las gráficas de la app no son idénticas a las del manual.Para programar la alimentación por horario, revisa la hora que aparece en la transmisión en vivo y ajusta tu programación si no coincide con la hora real. En mi caso mostraba una hora adelantada y lo consideré al programar.Las raciones no siempre arrojan el mismo gramaje; haz pruebas con una báscula. A mí me funcionó programar 2 eventos con un minuto de diferencia, 3 raciones por evento, y así me acerqué a los 25 g totales que necesita mi gatita.
