Bad batch
Update 8/3/23. We went directly to the company and their response was fabulous. We could not have asked for better customer service. They really listened to our concerns and said they would rectify the issue. With that being said and the fact we and our dogs, love the product, they now have a life long customer. I have changed to 5 stars.We have been giving Zukes to our dogs for a couple of years. We love them, the dogs love them. However these last 2 bags we got the product was dry and hard. I’ve ordered enough over the years to know they are soft. It’s like the product was initially bad or the bags weren’t sealed, drying the product out. What was really discouraging, I tried to do a return and Amazon said this product was not returnable. I’m sure this was isolated and will continue to buy the product but it sure would have been nice to get a refund.

Stale treats
My dog loves Zukes and I’ve been getting them for him for a long time. However, this last batch is stale. My dog is tiny, and I generally cut the small treats in half and these are so hard I cannot do it. They are non-returnable so I am stuck with him. I am so disappointed.

Stale, smells “off”
I’ve been purchasing this same exact product from the local pet store for years. Was already ordering something else and knew I was running low on these treats, so figured I’d add to the order and save a trip to the store. As I said, I’ve been buying these exact treats from the pet store so I’m very familiar with them. They are super soft and my dog loves them. However, the ones I received today are not the same. These are almost as hard as dry dog food and they smell “off”. Certainly not the soft tender treats that I’ve been getting, and my dog didn’t devour them as she normally does. Though they’re not outdated, there’s definitely something wrong with them. They’re not even close to the same quality and, of course, they can’t be returned. That’s not right. Buyer beware…these are not what they seem.

Low calorie treats dog loves
This is my dogs favorite treat. Low calories with great ingredients. I’m sad that there is no longer a double packet for my subscription order in the salmon flavor. We have also bought the chicken flavor.

Perfect for my senior little dog.
Perfect for my senior little dog. I needed something soft enough he could chew with flavors he would like. These totally fit the bill. He loves the flavors of the duck and the salmon. I’ll continue buying these and may try the other flavors as well. Great find !
