Great Educational Activity!!
Such a great puzzle! The state names are big and easy to see, which is perfect for little hands and eyes. It keeps my 3- and 5-year-olds busy, and I love that they’re starting to recognize the states while they play. The box it comes in is super sturdy and makes cleanup easy for them to do themselves. We keep it right in our play area so they can grab it any time. Definitely recommend for learning through play!

Great Educational Gift for Younger Kids, But Too Basic for Older Ones

EVERY “new citizen person” of all ages should know the geography of the country
When the map arrives with all the actual pieces this is a GREAT learning tool for “kids of all ages.” Excellent overall sturdy pieces and graphics are most helpful in learning stereotypes for each state and of course, capitals…First order arrived with 12 missing pieces. YIKES! But Amazon was wonderful about getting the replacement the very next day! Also completed map is a very good overall size for thorough study and review of where the states are sited in the greater scheme of the whole country…GREAT learning tool.

Great puzzle but pieces don’t snap together like a typical puzzle
This is a great puzzle with colorful pieces and the capital city for each state included. HOWEVER, the pieces do not snap together like a typical puzzle so even the adult helpers found it difficult to maintain the positioning of the unusually shaped pieces (our states come in quite a variety of shapes and sizes!) I imagine there is a challenge for the designers as the shapes of the puzzle pieces are predetermined by the shape of the actual state and are amenable to precut designed shapes. My 4-year-old granddaughter was very engaged in the process but towards the end was tiring of having to keep repositioning things in order to find the correct location for the next piece.

Accurate puzzle but center pieces are a little difficult to place. They do not connect to each other but lay side by side. I like that the state capitals are listed.
