    Attainable and permanent healthy living
    I read and recommend Reprogram Your Weight for anyone who is looking for long term health, not just weight loss. The fact that this is not a “diet book” will give you insights on how to take the steps necessary to be capable of healthy living. Nutrition is a necessary component for getting to and maintain a healthy weight, but the knowledge of what to eat is fairly well known. Building habits that will make you happy living healthy is where most “diet plans” fall short and this book emphasizes this point as the key to weight management. The book is well written and formatted and there is enough anecdotal examples that most any reader should find something that resonates with them and gives them hope and a blueprint to take the steps necessary to make a long term lifestyle change toward sustainable health. I myself had battled my weight my whole life (and usually lost) until five years ago when I adopted many of the strategies outlined in this book. I went from a high of over 300 pounds and dropped to and maintained my weight below 200 since then without starving or feeling like I was sacrificing anything. This book will teach you the mindset required to build a foundation to get to and more importantly stay at a healthy weight and also get the ancillary benefits of more energy, strength and a general sense of well-being that comes with being fit. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, I hope you give it a try and can find the happiness I have found.

    Great Book!
    I was hesitant to think that hypnosis would work for me because I am a consummate skeptic and very analytical. But the way Erika explains how our brains process information, the difference between the conscious and subconscious brain, and how hypnosis allows us to tap into our subconscious brain really made sense to me. I enjoyed learning more about why I eat when I’m not hungry, and how the brain works when it comes to cravings. I’m already applying a few of the techniques and feel better about my ability to reduce how much I eat and increase how much I am active. I am also embracing the concept of “Incremental Success”. Every small measure of success is a step in the right direction. Lastly, I really enjoyed hearing client success stories demonstrating how the process works in the real world. Erika’s love of her calling and helping people achieve their life goals was evident in every page.

    Delightful book with down to earth, practical look at what impediments there are to weight loss.
    Reprogram Your Weight by Erika Flint – This delightful book offers a down to earth, practical look at all the factors that are the impediments to weight loss that those who diet know all too well. This book serves as a guide for those wanting to make the life changes that are necessary to support long term weightloss, as one’s approach to food is just as important in weight loss as is the actual caloric content. While written by an experienced hypnotherapist, the book subtly promotes but does not force you to employ hypnosis to facilitate the change. As Erika has a strong IT background in a previous life, her style is factual, but never loses touch with the human factors and emotions at hand. This book is therefore highly recommended to those interested in figuring out where dieting goes wrong, or to those interested in how the mind works without being bogged down by scientific mumbo jumbo.

    Reprogram Your Weight gives some great insight into why many of us have difficulty losing weight or regain the weight we lost. In the book the author Erica talks about how hypnosis can be such a powerful tool in weight loss by addressing the root cause of why, and what could be contributing to weight gain or our difficulty in losing weight and keeping it off. Erika talks about some of the physiological reasons we turn to food for comfort. The book also talks about emotions and how those play a part in the whole scenario and also about the bad data we have received and how that can be effecting our success. In Reprogram your Weight you’ll find lots of examples of how Erika guides her clients to make subtle changes that provide great results for them.Good book, I liked it and I especially loved the story about Shirley. It was heartwarming.

    It is not a self hypnosis book, but more of a book letting you know what hypnosis can discover regarding what your over eating stems from. Still a good book.

    This book has some heartwarming case studies of the author’s clients, but Flint does not help with actual reprogramming the mind.

    This Book is a Must Read!
    Reprogram Your Weight was a total surprise to me because it was not what I was expecting – it’s not a “diet” book at all. Rather it goes beneath that to the subconscious reasons why we over eat and have a hard time losing weight. I love the idea in the book that once you know what is keeping the weight on you, you’ll then know how to take it off. I hadn’t thought of using hypnosis to lose weight, really I didn’t know hardly anything about hypnosis at all other than what I see at the local fair! But now I understand how hypnosis can be used to root out “bad data” holding me back. I also found the book itself easy to read and I appreciated the heartwarming success stories. Overall I’d recommend this book to anyone who is tired of struggling to lose weight – you’ll be glad you did.

    Don’t let the title mislead you – this book covers much more ground than the title implies.Yes, this book is about weight loss; yet, so much more than just another diet to follow…It’s about your body, yet so much more than the usual calories in, calories out information…It’s about your current life and what you already know; yet, there’s so much more that you actually don’t know…at least, not consciously.And, yes, it’s about hypnosis; but, maybe not what your current thinking and beliefs about hypnosis are…The author offers both valid and substantial advice on weight loss; and, yet she also offers so much more…Her experience in successfully working with and helping so many people with weight issues ranging from emotional eaters – to over eaters, through to those who simply love their food, offers the reader a unique perspective on what it is that really does work. Sharing story after story of her client’s challenges, struggles and successes, we come to see that there is genuine hope for an end to this weight loss/weight gain treadmill that so many people are stuck on.
