The pointers are as long as a pen. They are a stick as a thicker style pen not a real thick pen, but a Mont Blanc”s thickness. The colors are very bright; red, green, blue. Being that length and we it gives you more control over the actual pen laser. And it’s actually built to last.

My cats love them! the Green one is so strong its crazy! I am so happy they take double A batteries as opposed to the old laser pointers. Great Buy!

Needed a simple pointer in different colors for a conference filled with acclaimed doctors and surgeons making breakthroughs in their specialty. X-rays were projected onto large screens in hotel ballrooms and the doctors each had their own color so they could point out exactly what part of the X-ray they were talking about and others could join in with a different color, making for lively discussions. Several went “missing” and it is rumored that they are now being used at different hospitals around the world.

Disappointed – go with a different brand!!
The package includes 3 pointers in different colors—red, green, and violet. The idea seemed promising as I’ve used laser pointers before with great success, and my cat loves chasing the light. However, this set did not work!My Experience:• Green Pointer: This one was a complete disappointment—it didn’t even work out of the box. It died immediately, which was frustrating.• Violet Pointer: The violet light is so faint that it’s barely visible, even in dim lighting. It’s practically useless.• Red Pointer: The red light is slightly better but only works effectively in a very dark room. Even then, the laser dot is so small that my cat struggles to see it, let alone chase it. Bummer!Pros and Cons:Pros:• The product was only $15.• It arrived quickly, which was convenient.Cons:• Poor quality across all three pointers.• The green pointer didn’t work at all.• The violet light is barely visible.• The red light only works in very dark conditions and the laser dot is too small for my cat to see.• The product didn’t come with batteries, which was an unexpected inconvenience.While I understand that this product was on the cheaper side, I still expected it to at least function as advertised. Unfortunately, it did not, and I was left quite unhappy with my purchase. My cat didn’t get to use it, and I ended up having to look for a replacement product elsewhere.Final Thoughts:I would not recommend this product if you’re looking for a reliable and fun laser pointer for your pets. The quality just isn’t there, and it doesn’t deliver on its promises. Spend a little more on a different brand’s product.

better than keychain styles but room for improvement
Takes ‘normal’ sized 2@AAA batteries–YAY!!! (not those annoying little button cells). Easier to find the button in the dark, easier to grasp and to (repeatedly) press the full sized, one & only button without it rotating in hand (while wearing open finger gloves) because of the length and pocket clip, during lengthy winter backyard cat play sessions vs the little short keychain styles. But…. the button on the green was iffy after 1 month and the red just never screwed together right after 2nd battery change after a couple drops.

Cats love chasing this light. One prefers red and green and ignores the blue (more purple) Think this will bring many hours of chasing.
