Cat’s Favorite!
I’ve purchased these multiple times now because they are my cat’s absolute favorite!I first got these for my own benefit, if I’m being honest. I thought they were adorable, and loved the idea of my cat playing with little toy grasshoppers, but didn’t expect him to be any more interested in them than any other toy I’ve gotten him in the past (which amounts to an initial excitement that lasts for anywhere between a couple of minutes to a couple of days, followed by a complete disregard for it 99% of the time thereafter).Not this time. The moment I opened it and attached it to the fishing pole thing (already owned), he perked up. I tossed it around the room and he went feral chasing after it, which was all the more impressive as he had put on some weight over the previous months and had become rather lazy. The next time I brig the toy out – same thing! And the time after that, and after that, and after that!They’re well-made toys, but they do get pretty beat up pretty fast. I usually replace the toy every couple of weeks, or when it starts dropping parts. They remain the ONLY toy he consistently goes nuts for, and so I will continue to purchase these for the foreseeable future. As a bonus, it also helped him lose some weight!

Perfect cat toy addition !
Perfect addition for my cats play! These 3 different styles have kept my 12 year old picky cat entertained. The size of them are perfect to look like actual insects and have that natural hunting instinct for her. So far have lasted many playtimes will recommend for the price!

Finally got my fat cat to exercise
My cats LOVE these. The feathers were ripped off after a couple of days, but I should note my one cat is extremely aggressive with his toys. The feathers were pulled off a couple weeks ago and they are still on the first grasshopper because the quality of the body is excellent. It has a nice bouncy motion from the legs, so even without the feathers, they remain obsessively engaged. It’s just more of a cricket than a cute grasshopper now.I have one cat who has been very disinterested and lazy about toys for a couple years now. He literally starts wheezing with excitement when he just THINKS you’re about to take this toy out. It has him doing backflips, side flips, leaping into the air, accidentally tackling his sister, etc. He’s actually lost some weight since we bought this.Of course, my mom’s cat is afraid of it, so your results may vary.

Feathers come off easily
Our cats love these toys. I just wish the feathers didn’t pull out so easily. Our cat can destroy a toy is 2 minutes flat. The bumblebees are much more hardy, can has been playing rough with it for several weeks. Feathers ripped off but he still likes it.

Durable and my cats LOVE it!
My cats LOVE these so much! They find the bell engaging and prefer the smaller size of toy on their wand. NíThe best part is, they’re much more durable than so many other wand attachments I’ve tried. Most of them are destroyed within one or two play sessions by my boys but these hold up nicely! The ONLY caution is it looks like it is made with a bit of wire inside. It’s not a problem until they’ve really worn the toy out and then I worry it could be a safety hazard, but it’s always smart (and responsible) for pet owners to monitor toys and check for safety as toys face wear and tear, so I do not see this as a product flaw, especially since it takes so much longer than other wand toys for it to get to that stage!

Plastic toys with a metal wire inside is DANGEROUS for cats! Stay away from this one!!!
We used to buy natural toys for our bengal from MudBay. They are made of natural ingredients like rabbit fur and skin. So when a cat eats such toy it is not a problem for him. And you know that cats like to devour their toys sometimes. For the first time we ordered a toy from Amazon. Soon enough our grasshopper disappeared. We did not pay attention to it initially but we noticed that our bengal started to eat less and sleep more. We took him to a vet and they diagnosed a liver failure. We rushed him to a hospital and he stayed there for a day. They took an X-Ray and Ultra-Sound and found something in this stomach. After that they extracted this whole big plastic grasshopper from his stomach. The plastic grasshopper had a metal wire inside. We paid almost $10k for the diagnostics and the procedure. It was the most expensive pet toy we have ever bought in our lives! We would like the seller to compensate at least part of our expenses but we realize this is not possible. So the best we can do is to WARN potential buyers. Please, be careful! This pet toy is super dangerous for cats! Stay away from it!
