I ordered this for my pup to help with allergy related itching, primarily around his neck and on his back. He has issues with allergies confirmed by his vet. He takes an allergy medicine, but it only does so much. It gets red and inflamed and he had an intense, daily scratching routine. He is also very skittish/anxious, but for some reason, he didn’t even flinch when I put this on his neck, imcluding the first time I used it. I have had him for 12 years and he has only sat and allowed this with another natural spray waterless shampoo after using it for a while. He is a mixed breed, so he has a layer of long coarse hair, a medium length soft layer under that and fuzzy hair under that that you can brush with a furminator to no end and still be ever moving loose fur. As he has aged, he has had molting in some areas. I left it as instructed for a few minutes and then used a furminator. I am really impressed! The coarse hairs were softer and it brushed through around his neck without any pulling where it gets a little tangled with his collar. Usually his skin is often a dark pink /slightly reddish color in these areas and he gets and oily skin cuat over time between baths that his skin releases to try and protect itself. Almost immediately, the redness reduced. Within short period of time (maybe an hour at most when I checked back) the redness has dulled to a healthy light pink. It stayed that way for several days prior to using it again for another brushing. His scratching stopped too. No more seeing him go at these areas throughout the day or the classic moving the leg that can be cute but suggest an issue when I rub on his neck. I’m also just not a fan of using strong, perfumey, artificial scents on my pets. I try and look for products with benefits to my pets, not just to cover up the scent of them being an animal. Understand why some do, just not my personal preference. It has essential oils with this really light, fresh smell. Seemed to have gotten rid of the classic dog smell for a bit too when he’d come back from pottying or playing putside. I have tried many things over the years (he has been with me 11.5 years), and I have never found a product that works so well. It also really conditioned his fur, and the brittle hairs were no longer brittle. I have used for several weeks now, spraying him every 3 days or so. The benefits also stick around. Even doing it every 3 or so days, it has not gotten to a point where his skin is irritated/red again where I need to use it Doing so to maintain. As I apply it more and more, he relaxes more and more. Even laying down, head included, while I do it. It also soothes to a point the oils is really light or not present. Also a plus for me that it is a woman-owned business, a Certified B Corporation, and made in the US.

Okay this is about to be a lot of words so I’m sorry but you should just order this detangling spray and it’ll be at your door by the time you’re done reading.We’ve tried other brands of freshener/detangling spray before that didn’t do much so I wasn’t expecting this spray to do a whole lot either. I was looking into the brand and liked seeing that it was woman owned and made in the USA with natural ingredients. The packaging is adorable and the scent sounded nice enough so I figured we would try it.We’ve got one AussHole who despises her butt – aka pants😆being brushed, and a doxie mix that will tolerate being brushed when she says she will tolerate being brushed. Neither of them like any kind of spray but we had been using some “no itch spray medicine” (what I say to them) foam from the vet, so the puppies get into their spots to tolerate the medicine.I didn’t want them to think this spray was medicine, so I sat on the floor with the brush and *sprayed the spray on myself* and picked up the brush and Lillian (big) came over, sniffed it out and told me she was good to go.The scent is so light and fresh. I don’t know what to compare it to. It doesn’t smell like essential oil or perfume, and it dissipates kinda quickly (not too quickly) but seems to neutralize odor. The scent experience is super pleasant for people and puppies don’t seem bothered one bit.I was totally not expecting the actual detangling and DEMATTING magic that this would work. It just goes through like butt-ah. Even the butt hair. This spray was able to allow me to brush for so much longer and get so much further into the mats and loosen and remove [what is another phrase for ‘so much’?] hair. I’ve never been so speechless and had so much to say. That’s a lie, it happens often💃🏻Smol puppy Queen Moo – more than tolerated the SmellGoodBrushSpray™️ and we brushed for an eternity as well.I’d say I cannot say enough good stuff about this stuff but I think I’ve said enough. It smells good, it detangles and demats like blows my MiND, OH AND!!!! IMPORTANT!!!I said earlier (maybe) puppies had been itchy – yes, because NoItchMedicine™️ – they have both been siGniFicantly less itchy since we’ve been using this when brushing.Okay now maybe I’m done saying things.
