High quality! Great for reactive dogs
I always thought I was against these, but it’s necessary for my reactive dog. It’s the only thing that has worked to make our walks enjoyable. I was nervous because the one I bought before this kept coming undone while walking her which was really really bad! So I wanted to make sure I had a good one that would t do that! At first use I was nervous about the click. I was very very afraid of it coming undone. I have a “lunger”. She’s super reactive and will suddenly lunge and jump at any dog walking by. Sometimes I don’t see what she hears and it takes me by surprise. I can manage her but needed a collar strong enough to hold her and to create enough discomfort for her to stop because when she’s reactive she stops at nothing (sometimes not even this) anyhow. This has held up VERY well and I’m so glad I got it. No complaints, no issues, no escaping dog. I love that we can enjoy daily walks together with this. Highly recommend.

Actually works really good. I have a pitbull and I originally had a vest for him and he’s somewhat trained but is just so excited to go for a walk with this. It’s not choking him and even if you barely even tug it, he stops and looks up at you. It responds different to your dogs. Definitely recommend a friend. I recommend it and I’m glad I bought it

Prong collar – great
I really am not a fan of these collars however, at my age and the strength of my puppy who just turned one takes me for walks instead of me taking her. After much review and out of options I had to resort to the prong collar. I have to say it really depends on the dog but no matter who spoke to they had all stated that the prongs really ease the walks. At first, she did not take to the collar and would bark at me but after a while she got used to it and it has slowed down the pull, she had with me, and I now have my arm and shoulder back. This collar was great I measured and purchased the size according to the chart provided online fit perfect. the collar pulls shut with ease, so I really did not have to increase or decrease the size however, they do provide extra prongs. After several weeks I have not switched to the rubber tabs they included with this collar and honestly, I feel so comfortable using this device. Great value for your buck and its very durable. Would highly recommend.

Good quality
I wouldn’t use it on a dog, I never understood why people do, until I got a dog that is impossible to control. Good thing about it is the spikes are covered with silicone tips. It also is something that does let them pull easier. My dog got used to it and it’s really difficult now to control even with a collar on, though she matured a little and that helped plus some training, she knows she sholdn’t be pulling like insanity on her walks, but it does not help when she sees another dog, especially a puppy. She is overly freindly, not at all aggressive, but not all dogs like to be approached like that, so we are working on it. There is a problem with these silicone tips – they fall off. I wouldn’t say they fall off easily, but we already lost a few, though it comes with a few spare ones. It is much better than the ones with no silicone tips. Easily adjustable, well made.

Beware of the front clasp
This worked so well for about 5 months. The last 2 times I’ve taken my dog on a walk she’s ran off because the front clasp came undone. I’m really disappointed in that. It’s so much easier to get on with the metal clasp but can’t take chances like that with a reactive dog. She’s about 50lbs and wore a medium.

Dog Prong Caller with safety latch
I like the front latch as it is easier to put the Prong Collar on and take it off. It came with prong covers that were easy to put on the collar and there are plenty of extras if needed.

Good product but buckle is too big
Product works great and is as described. I do find the buckle very big and even after measuring I had to remove a couple prongs and was only left with 2 at each side. Still works and helds to reduce the pulling but not as great as others. Maybe a size smaller would have been better suited for my pup.

I have carpal tunnel in both my hands so standard prong collars are very difficult for me to take on/off. The quick release buckle is significantly easier to use and I love that it functions as a trachea guard as well.The bare tips are nicely rounded so they don’t require the covers provided but I find them helpful for keeping the collar from sliding down your dog’s neck.Over all it’s very well made and easy to use.

First Impressions was, it’s huge! I might of taken Small for my German Shepherd. I took off 4 prongs and now have 6 prongs spare. There are only 4 prongs left on the collar. Idk how it will work as it will only squeeze the sides of the dog’s neck. Best suited for large necked dogs. Top quick release would be better, bottom uses prong space so there are less points of pressure.

My 30lb golden retriever puppy (at 7 months old) started running toward another dog and the collar snapped at the hook connector site. These collars are supposed to inhibit pulling and stop them when they feel a pinch from doing so.I have another traditional prong collar for my other dogs and they have never broken.
