Chews does there job
Pretty decent for calmness/zoomies/listening. My Tyson is a 11month PittBULLY and all over the place…These do calm him where he listens and is not as active and at night goes to sleep vs playing and he will choose these over other treats…must taste great

He likes them, takes them eagerly, but remains restless and upset! His problem or the product?
We ordered these for two dogs who are not good car travelers, in hopes of reducing anxiety. One of them strongly resists being penned for the night and is often destructive of his bedding or the enclosure when so penned. The recommended dose for his weight has reduced the frequency of such destructive episodes, but not the extent of the damage when they do occur. I suspect that he is just an old dog set in his habits and that no medication is going to change him. Come spring we will try them for travel anxiety on both dogs and I will edit the review to report on that aspect, and possibly rate them higher. These calming treats are very favorably priced compared to similar products that we have considered, and actively sought by both dogs (The younger dog feels cheated when we give her a non-medicated treat and her fellow gets this one. She obviously smells the difference.)

They loved these
One of my girls is very picky when it comes to treats and she just loves these, so they obviously have a good smell and taste according to my dogs. Since my dogs are on the smaller size, this jar actually lasted me quite a while. It was a good choice.

Seems to work for our dogs
I have a couple dogs, a mini aussie doodle who suffers from high anxiety and a German shepherd who just has puppy GSD energy. They are two wildly different dogs but I’ll outline below how I see each of their experiences with this. For the mini Aussie doodle, she starts off pre treats seemingly on edge about mostly everything. She’s snappy with the other dog. She is very needy and attached to us, obsessive licking, etc. Post treats, she remains a little on edge but the licking decreases quite a bit. The snappiness with the other dog decreases. Her eyes seem perhaps the slightest bit glazed over. It’s not something I’ll give her all the time, but it appears to help her function a bit more normally when she has this. For the GSD, pre treat is a crazy bundle of energy. We find he’s right in our faces, constantly pacing, and constantly needing to be doing something besides chilling. Post treats, I don’t experience massive changes with him but there is some chill to him and a little bit of just laying around and relaxing. He’s not quite as in our faces, and the pacing diminishes to a fair extent. In our experience, these treats help to calm down some of the difficult to handle behaviors that our dogs seem to exhibit quite frequently. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that I believe they are an all out game changer, but they do seem to help and that’s the best I was hoping for.

The dog loves them- but I have my doubts about calming her.
Our dog is a pretty hyper girl at times. We were hoping that giving her these treats would help with her on walks.First off – be aware, for a medium sized dog the recommended number of treats a day is 6. They are small, so that’s not a problem for us.We gave her these treats for several weeks. Definitely something she likes. But we have not seen a noticable indication of calming f from using them. But they are useable for training and good behavior treats so we may keep getting them. Did I mention she likes them a lot?

Dog Loves Them
I recently tried the Relaxing Dog Chews – Duck Flavored Calming Treats for Dogs by ZooChews for my furry friend, Mishka. I must say, she loves these treats! Within about fifteen minutes of consuming them, she always takes a nap. These treats are easy to digest and work well. These calming treats are perfect for dogs who experience anxiety, separation, barking, stress, or thunderstorms. They contain natural ingredients like valerian root, l-theanine, hemp oil, vitamins, and melatonin, which help in maintaining your pet’s calmness and overall well-being.The hemp-infused calming chews are also helpful in addressing Mishka’s excessive barking, chewing, licking, and biting.I found these treats to be a valuable resource for Mishka, especially during changes in routine like car rides, thunderstorms, or holiday fireworks. They promote relaxation and bring comfort to both the body and mind of your furry friend. The packaging contains 180 chews, which is a great value for the price. The duck flavor is also a plus, as it seems to be a favorite among dogs. I highly recommend these calming treats for dogs who need a little extra help in managing their anxiety and stress levels.

One of my dogs would not eat
While these looked like yummy dog treats one of my dogs refused them. Fed other dog the suggested amount and never really saw a difference in behavior.
