They work but go off your dogs weight
They work you can tell my dog was fighting them, she like to wait till she’s done eating to whine all night long so I was like I’ll give you one see how it does and then she was fighting it I seen the weight requirements gave her a second haven’t heard her for a good 45 mins

Use only when necessary.
I honestly didn’t know what to expect and was afraid being my 1st time using any calm aide. Rocky responded very well. He wasn’t sluggish he just rested for the night. I wouldn’t give it on a daily basis.

They work.
So I have a 40 lb Frenchie/Staffie mix and he gagged harder than I did on the smell but after playing “hide the chews” in half a turkey sandwich he went for it. Took about 30-40 minutes and he mellowed right out. He’s kind of a spaz so for him to relax was awesome. No leash pulling on our walk and no yelping when I put him in his kennel for a couple hours. He just layed down on his bed and chilled. They pretty much wore off after about 3 hours and he was right back to his usual hyper self but I feel they’re worth buying and worked well even though it was only for a few hours. They really do smell terrible though hence 4 stars instead of 5.

I use these as occasional treats for my anxiety-ridden elderly dog who’s vision is slowly fading and hearing too. It’s a nice tiny dose of go-to-bed-&-stop-worrying medicine as a reward for listening to instruction when it’s potty time. (She loves the kitty crunchies like doggy crack!)

Bad batch, not the best in my opinion
The smell is not unpleasant; it resembles regular dog food. They provide a generous amount of chewy bite for the price. However, this product did not work for my dog. It made her more energetic, unfocused, and playful during the 10-hour trip. I suspect I may have received a defective batch, but I’m not certain. (10/6/25) I’ve updated my rating to 4 stars because the owner reached out to me regarding my concerns. This shows that the owner cares about the impact of their product on our pets.

Gave them to my dog because we moved to a new area and had visitors coming, they didn’t even do anything to them. Going by the reviews I would of thought they worked

Works great
I have been giving my dog these chews for a week now more so in the evening to help her wind down because she is so hyper even after being outside playing all day long but I can definitely say I prefer this brand the smell isn’t as bad as some of the others I’ve tried. Seems to work well and I feel like it was worth the money spent even though I didn’t spend much compared to most calming chew brands.

It does what it says but ohhh that smell
Excellent product that does what it says. Within a hour my very hyper dog is calm and relaxed. Now the smell is a little off-putting and between the two dogs I give them to one loves them and one is iffy about them but still eventually eats it. Other than that I couldn’t recommend this more.
