Melissa and Doug emergency vehicle puzzle
Absolutely love how sturdy and fun this product. The off and on button on the back makes it battery efficient and easy so that my 1.5 year old can turn it on and off when they are playing with it. I love the vibrant puzzle pieces and how they make the realistic sounds of each piece, so kids learn what emergency vehicle sounds like. Melissa and Doug toys are the perfect size for young kids to move around in their own and who are learning ins and outs of puzzles

Highly recommend this for a two year old boy.
I bought this for my friend’s two year old grandson. Never having had a boy, I wasn’t sure what to get, but found this by putting Gifts for two year old boys” in the Amazon search box. I just received a text from my friend saying that she constantly has to play this puzzle with her grandson because he loves it so much! So it was definitely the right choice for him! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a gift for a two year old boy.

I did not know this when I bought these puzzles for gifts for grandkids for Christmas gifts but the puzzle also makes the farm animal sounds while putting the puzzle together and is great for learning and fun…

Does not meet the high standards of M+D puzzles/toys
I really love the idea of this puzzle… i.e. the activation of the animal’s sound when the corresponding animal puzzle piece is placed. And, I have always loved Melissa + Doug toys…However, I bought 3 different M+D “sound puzzles” similar to this one. My complaint is that any one of the animal sounds in this puzzle is activated by any one of the puzzle pieces. (You can place any puzzle piece “near” or “over” the center of any one of the spaces, and the sound of the animal associated with the space is activated. In other words you do not need to fit the correct puzzle piece “into” the correct space to activate the animal sound of that animal… I think it could be very confusing for a child.My granddaughter kept 1 puzzle piece in her hand, and continued to wave it over each one of the spaces, and the sound was activated.

二歳の子供がパズルが好きで、動物にも興味があるので喜んで遊んでいます。パズルを取り外したり占めると該当の動物の鳴き声が聞こえるのが楽しいようです。注意点としては、夜寝るのにパズルが外れていると電気を消した時鳴き声が聞こえる様です。ちょっとビックリするみたいです。
