Highly recommend for self cleaning litter boxes.
This is perfect for self cleaning litter boxes.There is no pee smell at all these chrysalis are amazing, I have tried so many different clumping litters that did not work the clumps fell apart when the box cleaned, its been 3 weeks and I’m still on my first bag with 2 cats. The crystals absorb the pee and no smell at all and the price is lower than I expected. The crystals also keep the box so much cleaner than clumping litter.

A Pleasant Surprise…!
Crunchy on the carpet, but my cats use it with no issues. It says no need to scoop every day but that is not true. It is just easier though. No clumping, the urine separates from solid and absorbs… But only up to a point. My senior cat has kidney issues, pees a LOT, and this will not last the entire month they state on packaging… It needs to be swapped out entirely at about 25 days or so. Even so, it is one of the best litter products I have tried, and I never want to see clay litter ever again!

Smaller than the previous crystal litter I use.
Hides odor well. Easy to scoop. These are smaller crystals and harder to clean up. Not enough in one bag to fill box. I use a bag and a half.

I wanted to like it, I really did
I wanted to love this litter. When I say I’ve tried them all, trust me, I have. I compare this to Pretty Litter in many ways. I felt like it worked almost as well and masked the odors pretty well, but the “gravel” pieces are huge. Instead of the smaller pieces, these are really large. So much so they barely sift through any scooper I have and I have several different sizes. Also, it felt like walking on gravel from the cats leaving tracks. When my foot hit even a tiny piece, OUCH. I was constantly sweeping, which in all honestly, I think all litter does that. At least I haven’t found one yet that doesn’t leave lots of tracks.

I really like the crystal litter. It lasts longer and there’s no odor from my kitty. She seems to like it too.

Horrible smell
This product is awful. I liked Pretty Litter and was looking for a cheaper alternative. The crystals are so big that it didn’t cover the feces very well. The cat box smelled like the cat didn’t bury its litter at all. The urine just sat at the bottom of the box. Horrible stuff.

I find it can leave this particular litter linger than the other crystal litter I have tried and you get more in these four bags for way less than a big bag at Walmart or wherever. Good value, good lasting power.

Too Dusty and not a good value
Got to speak up on this one. I normally use another brand (4 pack) bud decided to try this due to the price and 6 pack. Disappointed! The crystals are larger which prevents them to absorbing liquid which leads to odor quicker. I use it in an automatic cleaner box and this product has to be changed every week where as my previous brand would last 2 weeks to – there goes the savings down the drain. Also, be prepared to wear a dust mask because when you pour this from the bag you will inhale lots of dust leading to coughing fits; I’ve learned to hold my breath when changing this out. I just used my 3rd pack out of the 6 and will go back to the previous 4-pack brand I used that has smaller crystals and no coughing hazard.
