These things work great for your wandering presentation needs. 5 stars!
There are a lot of remote presenter and PowerPoint clickers out there, but for lots of things like this (wireless laptop accessories – mouse/keyboard combos, remote presenters, USB cameras, etc.), Logitech is my go-to vendor. I have been disappointed by other vendors over the years, but so far, never disappointed with Logitech kit.And so this nice little easy to use, palm-sized presenter remote has proven. It does everything I need – forward, backward, and “return focus to PowerPoint” buttons all work as expected. My cat loves the laser pointer, and is writing his own review that you should ignore because he does eventually get frustrated with that damned dot that he can’t catch.Sometimes the laser pointer works for presenting, mostly it does not these days, due to either a glass screen on large TVs in use today, or one-way screens for rear projection that the laser does not show up on… but none of that’s a ding on the presenter remote, which projects a very nice laser beam. It’s more a commentary on our need to be flexible when traveling and presenting in various environments.I have walked 30-40 feet away from the laptop doing presentations, and had no issues with advancing my slides. I can’t really imagine getting much further from the laptop and screen, and not losing my audience, so as far as I’m concerned, this has all the distance I’ll ever need. I can’t advise on the max distance, since I’ll never go looking for those limits, but it’s lots further than 40 feet.Lastly, this is a very pleasant device to hold and use, in an ergonomic sense. It is extremely well-designed for the human hand, and I would say for any size of human hand. Many of these I’ve owned and used as loaners from various venues are straight tube shapes, cylindrical, longer than necessary, slightly unwieldy and awkward feeling in your hand. This one – from the first second, it was comfortable and the buttons are just where they should be for easy, intuitive use. Exactly what I wanted, and what I’ve come to expect from Logitech – my go-to for stuff like this. FIVE STARS, no dings, all good, highly recommended.Boot-note: this one has no timer function. Logitech makes a couple with that feature, but I don’t find it useful and don’t want to pay $20 extra for a feature I don’t need. Your call entirely which way to go on that consideration, but I’m extremely pleased with my choice and my new toy.

Great and easy clicker
Worked immediately out of the box. I’m using this with a MacBook Pro M1. The only shortcoming is that the dongle is USB-A and every new computer only has USB-C. But a tiny adapter solved this problem easily. The device is small, but substantial. It’s not likely to get lost in my bag or broken by a passionate presenter. It seems plenty durable.

Good, but isn’t meant for heavy use.
I got this product quite sometime ago and i wanted to come back and update my review. It is, far and away, the best clicker that is on the market. I know this because I think that I have tried all of them at this point. The distance on this clicker is roughly 100 feet, which if you are in a classroom, is quite a ways. I have found that it also works from quite a few angles and I do not have to worry about staying in one spot. The laser pointer has also proven to be very clear from a distance. One thing that is nice is that even from a distance, the green laser stays more precise, part of it has to do with where green falls on the spectrum, this is especially useful if you are needing to highlight a precise area on the object (for me its maps). One draw back, and one reason for four stars, is that I have had to replace this pointer at least two times. I would say that I get about a year and a half out of each one, with heavy use. I hate stomaching the price each time I have to do this, but I find it is worth it for the range. However, it should last longer. It is on the batteries, it is just that it seems to be lacking the durability for extended use, all day long (I teach the same class multiple times a day). Over time, the buttons do fade very easily, so you just have to know what is where on the device. It should be noted that the timer is a really nice feature and if you’re a teacher having students do presentations, setting it to vibrate will re-direct the students and have them finish up quickly.

Not much to say as clickers are pretty straight forward– it performs as intended by controlling my slides in PowerPoint. That being said, there are a few extra features on this particular clicker I haven’t yet seen. I’m mostly talking about the timer as I have often used phone apps to keep time, which is awkward to check while talking. This clicker allows you to set the length of your presentation and keep you on time by two features. The first, of course, is the screen with the countdown timer. But another feature I really like is that it gives you a small vibration when you have two minutes left and one minute left. It’s a nice way of getting that information without having to look. This clicker may be a big more pricey than others on the market, but if you struggle with keeping time during talks/presentations, I can’t reccomend this product enough. The battery life is also incredible.
