Strong Long Range Laser
Strong Long Range Laser, Super bright, and battery last awhile on charge. very green, fun to play with when power goes out. Dogs and cats dont care for it like the red lasers.

Very nice and powerful it’s powerful enough that it works well during the day it definitely works on Crows lol it’s like a pesty bug to them dying to try it on squirrels but they seam to know that I have it and staying away from our birds feeders.Well worth the price should have bought two of them.

WARNING: Not a toy! Stronger than expected.
This laser is much stronger than I expected.If you’re looking for a laser for your cat or some other play time get something weaker.Just looking at the laser hit the wall was already a bit uncomfortable.If you need it to point at things in the distance then it’s very good.I could see the laser hit a wall at about 60yds during the day. It might go longer.I like that the beam can be focused. That is, it can be adjusted from a fine point to a slightly larger (somewhat fuzzy) blob.Things I don’t like:1. The power switch protrudes from the body. To prevent accidentally turning it on there’s a plastic clip that shields it. To use the laser you need to remove the clip. I can foresee breaking or losing the clip.2. I almost never use the “starlight cap” but it stores in the front of the laser so I need to unscrew that first.I wish it could be screwed in the back. I’ll probably just put it away and never use it.Overall, for the price I’m happy with it.

A Light Tech’s Favorite New Tool
I’m a lighting technician and bought this on a whim to see if it would help focus in Daylight. I LOVE IT. The starfield seems silly at first but I used it to help predict the spread of up lighting and boy howdy was it a lifesaver.Dangerously bright. Not a toy, but a handy tool to have in my kit.

weak dims after about a second, dies quickly
this pointer is weak and the battery dies quickly. I purchased this for a star party. it didn’t last longer than an hour. The power is very low quality, the laser lights up full bright then dims after a second which doesn’t work when trying to point out stars in the night sky. I am glad I bought a couple of back ups from other vendors for a little more money which worked all night long. I would steer clear of this one if you need a good laser pointer.

Do you have to be outside to have the actual beam show up? And you just take the 1st cap and unscrew that off to have regular?
