Great toy for kitten!!
I tried this toy on my cat, who didn’t really care for it after a minute or so. Then I tried it on my kitten — she LOVES it! She chases her tail a lot, so this toy is the perfect length for her — it’s like a more fun version of her own tail. She has no trouble catching it occasionally, so it’s not frustrating for her to play with. This is actually a very brilliant toy design for the right cat! She’s been playing with it for about an hour straight.

Cannot recommend due to potential dangers
This was fun to try out on our cats, especially with the one who is constantly bugging us to play. But under no circumstances should your cat be left alone with this toy. We could immediately tell there could be dangers. Also, it can be incredibly mean to the cat especially if it spooks the cat. Fortunately our cat loved it the one time we tried it on her (under close supervision, of course), but we feel there are too many hazards to try again. Instead we put the collars on our (human) ankles and let the cats chase us around. They all have had fun with that. Or we simply dangle the toy above the cat to play grab, holding the collar part in our hand. When we’re not using these toys, we close them up in a storage container the cats can’t open. It kind of seems like this isn’t a toy that should be manufactured and sold due to potential hazards, yet this is coming from the crazy cat person who ordered this.

This is junk!!!
It does not function at all. If you hold up the collar, the wire with feathers immediately swivels to the bottom. It will not stay up as described or pictured. Typically cats do not like collars. Trying to put this collar on my cat was a joke. it does not function. There was no entertainment. Basically, I threw away money.

Lots of fun
My cat loves these toys never thought he would have so much fun out of it. The only down side is the feathers falling out but it was so worth it to see him enjoy it and the price.

my cat loves it!
my cat has lot of energy and I don’t always have time to play with her. I put the collar on her and she loves it. she will chase it, carry the feather in her mouth. after a while I will take it off her so she can relax. what I love is the cat is able to entertain herself. the product is very durable and love that there are 3 in the package. I put one of the collar on my other cat who has very different personality, not has playful or full of energy, He just swatted the feather and ignored it. so if you very busy and have very playful energetic cat, give the collar a try, its hilarious to watch the cat chasing it.

This is really as bad as the others say. The wire immediately swivels down. My cats drug it around and ignored it. At one point they started hunting each other and stepped on the feather of the other cat and almost hurt each other. Only 2 stars due to the extra feathers to put on their other toys. Not worth the buy and I find it dangerous and bad quality.

Not big enough for the cats
The wire was to short even for our little kitty. I attached them to the cat tree, all kitties like the bells and feathers.
