Two Thumbs up from my cat that I swear has thumbs
I think my cat likes it. She’s crazy. She’s also angry she’s on a diet. We can only find this on Amazon so sometimes if we run out we have to temporarily use something different and then switch back. That is the only time we have any issues. After a few days of protesting, she will eventually eat this and seems to really like it. She has maintained a healthy weight and is a very healthy kitty cat!

My cat loves it, but how much to feed her to lose weight??
My cat loves this food, but it’s hard to figure out how much to feed her to lose weight. She’s a 17 pound Maine Coon and I was feeding her 2 cans per day. She lost one pound in a month but I was worried that she was being underfed because she was crying a lot (she went from being free-fed dry food all day to this strict diet). So I added 1/4 cup of the perfect weight control dry food with her diet and also gave her Science Diet’s mature cat wet food occasionally, but then she ended up gaining the 1 pound back. I’m back to feeding her 2 cans per day and might add less dry food or even a third can of this food. The vet told me not to feed her dry food because it has too many fillers and carbs, but it gets expensive to only feed her wet food. It can also get messy – my cat somehow manages to get remnants of this food on the walls and on the ground. Still, I think it’s the best quality weight control wet cat food on the market and even though it’s a little expensive, it’s still cheaper than the Hills Physician prescription diet. My vet recommended a high protein, low carb wet food pate diet for my cat to lose weight and I think this is the best one on the market without getting prescription food.

Good product but you only get half
The description says case of 24 yet multiple times now I’ve only been delivered 12. I like the product and want to purchase it, but they’re just not capable of counting I guess.It even has a bright orange sticker that says “SOLD AS SET” right on it and yet you still only get half your order.

Great to help lose weight, remain nutritionally whole, and keep urine pH below 7
This is one of only a few brands of non-prescription food my cat can eat. He is both overweight and has urinary tract issues. I needed a food that would help him lose weight and keep his urine below a pH of 7 so that he didn’t form struvite crystals (precursor to kidney stones).Most cat foods are not nutritionally whole when you start cutting down the amount to help an animal lose weight. It would be the equivalent of having a complete meal in front of you and removing the vegetables and protein but leaving the carbs rather than equally taking from all three. I worked with my veterinary nutritionist and we were able to find this food rather than just putting my cat on expensive prescription food. No matter the amount you feed your cat, it is nutritionally whole, which is critical because there are key micronutrients that cats need or they will develop other problems. This is also one of the few brands that test the urine pH after cats eat it to make sure that it doesn’t aggravate urinary conditions.My cat loves this food and will rotate between this one and another salmon-flavored food. I feel so relieved that he isn’t on prescription urinary food, which works by overloading the kidney with sodium to dilute out urine and has unknown long-term effects on kidney function.

Bought this food to get my cat to loose weight. He’s 15 and 18 lbs. I’ve only been feeding him this food for a few weeks and though I’ve not seen a loss in pounds his fur is so silky smooth. It’s normally a bit corse. Hopefully when I edit this review in a few more weeks he will have lost some weight. Now if I could do something about his meowing obsession!UPDATE: After using for a month he has lost a pound. It was impossible to get him to loose weight at all before. Highly recommend this food for weight loss and its the best cat food I’ve tried so far.

Nice quality cat food; I have been buying this for a couple of months but lately the quality control is a bit off. This afternoon I opened a can of salmon and veggies and the can was half full. Not happy, especially because this food isn’t cheap and the chicken and veggies too has been very watery, not nice and thick and chunky as usual. I will continue to purchase this food because my girls love it; maybe it was just a glitch.

Cats hate it. Won’t touch it and they are not picky eaters. This is not returnable so go buy a single one from a vet to see if your cats like or not before spending $60 on something you can’t return! I should have done this but now I’m stuck with 24 cans of expensive food

This is a great food. My cats both loved it, however once they started on it one of our ladies started to be very itchy after eating. We discovered that she was for sure having some type of allergic reaction to the food. We’ve had to stop giving it to her.

This is only a case of 12. The description says 24 as does the headline but they only send 12. I am very disappointed that they gave me less than what I ordered. Cats seem to like the food though so product is lovely just not as great a deal as expected since they only send 1/2 the amount they say they will send.
