Expensive but good
This is the one we always go with. Just surprised it’s more expensive on Amazon than it is in the stores near me. We only bought it here because it was sold out at the store. I’m rating it 5 stars based on the product because the actual product is good and it’s what we use with our cat. 🐈A little bit more in depth review as I’ve seen others complaining: I always used clay/sand litter with my cats and I’ve had cats for my whole life. I’ve never used pellets. But when my fiance and I went to adopt our first cat together, they had already been using this at the shelter, so we wanted to try and stick with it. Our cat has no issues with this litter.I’ve seen a few people mentioning odor and honestly I haven’t noticed anything. Our apartment is tiny and our litter box is in the bathroom and it never smells like cat urine in here. And it doesn’t have that overly strong cat litter scent either which I feel like only adds to the urine odor sometimes. This stuff just smells like wood? I don’t know, maybe these people need to be cleaning more often or something. I change the box and litter once a week and in between that I add one scoop of clean litter towards the middle of the week for a little refresh. Easy. Odorless. Lightweight. I don’t know if it’s the best brand of litter that’s out there but it’s what we found and have stuck with. Definitely cheaper at the store though like I said and like others have said. ✌🏻

Great low tracking and clean alternative
I switched to this litter in an attempt to get my cat to stop tracking the other clay litters throughout the house. The other litter would get stuck in her feet and then would end up everywhere throughout the house. This litter, with the proper maintenance schedule, does completely remove the litter tracking. I did get some litter tracking when I didn’t change it out often enough, so you do have to remember to do that. Probably twice a week is enough for my one cat in my specific litter box.Once I switched though, I noticed the other quality of life improvements from using this litter. For one, I don’t mind changing the litter anymore. Instead of looking at big wet disgusting clumps of litter, now I’m greeted with a ton of dry and unassuming sawdust. It’s no longer a task I hate doing because it’s gross. Now, I really don’t mind doing it at all. The process is a little different since you’re sifting the sawdust out of the litter box and into a trash can and trying to keep the pellets in the scoop, but it’s not much different. It takes a little bit longer but I find it to be much more relaxing. Lastly, I love how after finishing cleaning the litter the scoop is completely clean. There’s nothing left stuck to it like standard litters. As far as odor goes, I do notice that the poop smell isn’t as well contained, so that’s something you may want to consider. It really depends on how well your cat buries it and how long you’ve left it without changing it. The pee smell is completely eliminated. Overall I’m really happy with it!

Great for kittens
It works. I only bought it for kittens. They liked to swat the pellets out of the box and play with them all over the floor. The momma used it with no problem with no previous litter experience (she was a feral, outdoor cat). Of course it’s non clumping and it’s hard for the cat to cover up her business so it stinks and you have to scoop it out immediately.

Cost
Product works as described. Cost is much higher than my local store.

Very good
I like it. No smell, less mess, but to be optimum, like for other pellets, it is better mixed with other litter on the bottom the box. At least it is my own opinion. It is economical, I will reorder.

Good
Lasts a long time. Cats are still getting used to it.

It produces SO MUCH sawdust that gets everywhere 🙁
I originally bought this based on the great reviews everywhere about this product, and while I think it would work well for some cats but definitely not others!!When my cat try to bury her pee, the pallet makes it really hard for her to scoop and cover up her pee in a satisfactory manner. I can tell she doesn’t really like this litter because of it, compared to previous non-pellet litter we have used. The pellet also get stuck between her paws. When she is done going to the bathroom, she does a pretty intense paw shake, hops out of the litter box and flings the pellets into the rest of the room.Just because this litter covers up the urine smell for humans doesn’t mean it covers it up for cats. My cat really likes her litter box clean, the fact that she can’t mask the smell with a layer of litter makes her hesitate to go in and use it sometimes. To clean the litter box, I ended up getting a sifting litter box because it was an extremely time consuming task trying to sift by hand using a metal scooper. I need to be sifting this litter box daily for my cat because the pellets makes SO much saw dust (which then has the urine smell that my cat can’t easily cover up). I’ve read reviews where they only need to clean it every few days or so but that is so not the truth for me. I collected about 18 lbs of saw dust in a little over a week.I don’t know what people are talking about when they say there is no or low dust but crumbles of the pallet litter breaks down easily and gets tracked EVERYWHERE. I used the black mat to catch the previous litter and didn’t think I was going to need it for feline pine… welp, here is a photo for a week’s worth of using the mat… in ADDITION to small bits of the pallets and a layer of pallet dust (and sawdust) gets tracked all over the next room and rest of the house. When I walk barefoot or with socks (on hardwood floors) I will consistently step on little tiny bits of hard pellet unless I sweep or vacuum every other day or so.I definitely tried my best in giving these pine pellets a shot. I used the whole 18lbs bag in the course of about 20 days for 1 indoor cat. I even bought a sifting litter box to try to make things easier (sifting litter box – you could still get saw dust everywhere if you sift it just a little too outside of the litter box parameter) and overall it feels like a no go.I feel like this litter would work well for some cats, but I don’t find this product to be all that. If it was up to my cat, she would switch the litter in a heartbeat.

The product is great and does exactly what it says in the description. Unfortunately, one of my cats disliked the pine smell and crapped on my carpet instead. Gave it to a friend, and her cats used it with no problems. Cats are fickle – what a surprise.
