This is by far the best litter box I have owned !
Excellent cat liter box ! I love the stainless steel bottom and the ease of cleaning it . Super easy to assemble and I ordered the biggest size so my cat has so much room and space ! She loved it ! I love the little step up that catches the cat litter on her paws as she exits the box . It definitely made my life so much easier – rarely do I see any cat litter on the floor since using this new litter box . It’s huge ! She is very comfortable with so much space . By far the best cat litter box I have ever had ! Tall sides that keep her kicking out cat allthe litter and like I said she loves it ! I have tried the expensive self cleaning ones and they are awful – they never work right or work long – usually they quit working about the time my return window closes and let’s be honest they stink , so I have given up on auto cleaning cat liter boxes , altogether , until they start making them to last and to actually work correctly ! This one has absolutely made my life so much easier ! If I had more than one cat , the biggest one like I have would be ideal , like I said there is plenty of room ! It is well made and durable and super easy to clean . The best investment for such a low cost! I am extremely happy and shockingly impressed! I honestly didn’t expect it to be as good as the ” reviews ” claimed . I’m mostly happy that she loves it and took to it immediately upon set up and I have to admit, Mommy is over joyed about less work and no cat litter all over my beautiful real hard wood floors! Also the stainless steel pan is amazing!!!!! It doesn’t hold the stinky smell of cat urine ( gag ) like plastic does – even my guests have asked if I no longer have a cat – because there is no stinky cat urine smell !! That is probably the biggest plus ! How embarrassed I became when I found out that as clean as I kept the others and even with the high quality cat litter I used , it did not mask the stinky cat urine smell ! Geez !Nothing is more embarrassing than guests smelling cat urine as we seem to become nose blind to it!( I always spent the extra couple bucks for brand name good clumping , dust free cat litter because that makes a huge difference- but apparently not so much with plastic )No more smell ! Happy kitty ! Happy Mommy! Best purchase ever !!!!!FYI – I paid full price for this and this is my honest review- I received NO incentive whatsoever , no reduction in price – if you check my profile you will see I only leave written lengthy reviews when an item exceeds my expectations and is beyond exceptional or quite the opposite of that – for those awful , disappointing purchases, you know , the very worst products that I purchase . I do this to help others – because there are far too many 5 star reviews and extremely high ratings and reviews that are coerced today by influencers, discounts , incentives or free products in lieu of leaving those same 5 star and exceptional reviews and we all know this to be true ! We used to be able to trust reviews , we depended upon them … but now not so much . I hope that review helps !! This is a top notch cat litter box ! I would definitely buy it again and I definitely highly recommend it if you are looking to replace a small , stinky plastic one or an auto cleaning one that undoubtedly isn’t working properly. Hallelujah, it Doesn’t leak when peed on the connecting seams!!
I’m impressed—to keep this to the point—I have about an 8 lb female cat who has recently been peeing a tad higher up in her litter box. The old litter box (we’ve had it since basically her kitten days) with similar two part partial enclosure design would leak right at the part that connects the top to the pan. This box resolved that issue!!! I love it! I am waiting for the price to drop by a few dollars again to get a second to replace the old secondary box (identical to the old one).I have only had it a few days but can verify it doesn’t leak when peed on the connecting seam between the two parts and fits into a fairly small/tight space between our bathroom vanity & toilet. It’s longer than my last box and definitely heavier and seemingly sturdier. For context, I use the cat litter sold at Costco and so far it seems to scoop easily (not sticking to the pan). I’m Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone else dealing with pee leakage from their current cat litter boxes. I was starting to be driven mad with the nearly every day cleaning of the old box and suffered a good 8 years because I was convinced I wasn’t going to successfully find a comparable sized box for the small spaces it has been in.

Perfect box for messy cats
Perfect litter box for messy cats!This litter box is amazing! Let me tell you, my cat likes to dig to China. She was always throwing litter outside the box. And because it was a normal plastic litter box, she could jump over the sides. It seemed no matter how many mats or rugs I would put down, she would still have litter sprinkled all over the floor. I was constantly cleaning up after her. And, with her urine clumps, with the litter, those clumps would stick like glue to the plastic box. And before you criticize and think that don’t clean her box daily, you are dead wrong. I scoop the box daily, but my cat seems to favor the same exact corner each time for urinating. So I would always have these big chunks practically glued to the bottom of the box, making cleaning more difficult. This box changes all that. No clumps sticking to the box. And with the high sides, she no longer jumps over the sides. It has been 5 days so far of super easy scooping and zero litter all over the floor of my guest bathroom. If you have messy cats, this box will change your life!

The high walls really keep everything contained!!! AWESOME!
This litter box is so great, that I bought a second one!! I LOVE the high walls. No debris “escapes”…it all stays where it should. It even has a small “grate” of sorts, so that stray litter on paws, falls back into the box, rather than on the floor near the entrance of the box. The upper walls fit OVER the bottom walls, another reason no debris escapes. EASY to clean and offers pets privacy. It is large, so it does require a lot of litter, depending on your pet’s needs. It also comes with a litter ‘scoop’ to help remove the debris. As a test, when I bought the first one, I placed it next to the low wall litter box. My cats both used the new, tall walled litter box and stopped using the low wall one!! So, cat approved!

Good quality but litter seems to stick to bottom
I like this box and seems to be holding up well, plastic top is sturdy and easy on/off. Only issue I’ve noticed is that my clumping litter that works really well in my other plastic lined litterbox from Modcat (with accompanying liner) doesn’t seem to work as well in this one, and clumps seem to get stuck to the bottom much more. I am wondering if it is due to condensation with the stainless steel. Not an issue with this particular product per se, perhaps more of a general issue for stainless steel boxes. For that reason, I am going to look into plastic liners for this box.

So So. If this unused product needs to be returned..you must pay shipping to send back. Actual litter box well built, but found plastic shelf that cat steps on to exit was weak. It was sent back despite being out of pocket/.
