This is the ONLY dog food that my 2 year old beagle has been able to tolerate. I adopted him at 4 months old and he had horrible digestive problems from day one. After much trial and error, bloodwork and allergy tests, he has so many allergies that I would never have thought to look. I bought at least 6-7 different brands/types before finding out why he wasn’t tolerating the food. He must have known because he didn’t even want to eat the food. A beagle not wanting to eat? Yes, there’s a problem. Found out that oatmeal and Beef are two of his biggest problems (plus like 10 additional ingredients). The ingredients in this Blue Buffalo Basics Grain-Free Adult Dry Dog Food, Skin & Stomach Care, Limited Ingredient Diet for Dogs, Turkey Recipe is EXACTLY as the name says. The ingredients ARE limited, ALL easy to pronounce and understand what it is, NO filler products and he LOVES the food. It is a little bit on the pricier side regarding size to price ratio but this is the best and only food that I have found for him and I’m incredibly grateful to have found it. If they ever discontinue this food, I’ll have a huge problem. Please do not discontinue this food!! It’s phenomenal quality and he actually loves it. He’s thriving and it makes me so happy.

Only thing that works for my dog
Been using this for years. My dog has a sensitive stomach, and this is one of the only foods that doesn’t cause any issues. Limited ingredients, nothing weird, and he actually likes it. We’ve tried switching a couple times, but always end up coming back to this. Just solid and reliable.

They changed the recipe to include turkey by-products which we all know is beaks and feet of the turkey. They advertised that they don’t put that crap in their dog food, but they have changed. As of August 2024 they now have. So, I no longer buy this product.

Recently switched from Purina one
My wide and I recently noticed that our rescue dog was having trouble with the dog food suggested by our vet so my wife researched and we switched her to the Blue Buffalo brand. Since making this switch, our Great Pyrenees/Giant Snauzer mix is no longer having the observed allergic reaction.

Blue Buffalo Grain Free Adult Dog Food
When I got my dog a few months ago we had our ups and downs with the vet and her stomach and bladder issues. My dog is a border collie and black lab mix. I wanted my dog to be on some good food that wasn’t full of junk like some of the other cheaper brands. I’ve heard a lot of great reviews about Blue Buffalo so I tried it. My dog love this food. She has not had any stomach or bladder issues since. I was purchasing this food at our local feed store for a few dollar more. I was getting low on dog food and checked amazon to see if I could purchase this dog food on the website. I found this Blue Buffalo Grain Free dog food and prime was offered so I ordered it and it was here in two days. Perfect timing as we just ran out this morning. I’m glad I found this food on Amazon with Prime because if I’m ever unable to get to the feed store I can have it to my house in two days and be okay. I also recommend this food for dogs with stomach and bladder troubles.
