Great if you need moisturization in your hair
This was a great shampoo and I love the smell but after about a week of using it, I had to stop because my hair like was Wheatley so I don’t know if I purchased the wrong item maybe or what but it is good if somebody needs some moisture.

My hair is left soft and static free. The fragrance is gentle. Not perfumy like store bought brands. The ingredients are natural. A little goes a long way. My scalp doesn’t itch anymore. Big plus!

The Only Shampoo I Want To Use!!
Hi all!! I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so about this amazing shampoo. This is the second time I have bought this, and I don’t think I want to try anything else again.The first time I bought this shampoo, I was searching for something for my thin, long hair that might help it feel fuller and healthier. My first impression was that it was very heavy on the essential oils, and thusly it took awhile for me to get used to the smell as it’s pretty strongly herbal. I liked the consistency and lathering, and for me I use a pump and a half to lather up my thin, waist-length hair. I have not had any issues with lather, but I have very hard water so that may help where others have had issues.It took me a long time to get through the first bottle, washing my hair daily, and when that was gone I was ready to try something else. I picked up a different brand from Amazon, and while using the different shampoo, I realized that this shampoo with it’s extreme amount of essential oils was keeping my on again off again dandruff at bay!! My dandruff was coming back when I switched, so after using most of the new shampoo I placed an order for my second bottle of this one.When I received the second bottle, it came packed very well, no leaking or anything, and when I pumped some product in the shower I was met by the old familiar heavy essential oil smell that I knew was going to keep my scalp and hair healthy. It was like seeing an old friend again.I can’t speak for the biotin making my hair stronger or anything like that, but it cleans well, leaves it shiny and pretty, and is an all around great shampoo. I don’t want to use anything else anymore, and I will be trying the matching conditioner once I’m done with my massive sized grocery store brand.I want to speak about those claiming chemical burns. I have NOT had this experience, but as I mentioned before, this shampoo contains heavy amounts of essential oils. If you are sensitive, I’d probably skip this one, but it works for me with no adverse effects. Even though essential oils are natural, that doesn’t mean natural botanicals are without side effects.I wish I could give this shampoo more than five stars, it will always be my favorite.

Overall, this is a very good shampoo. It cleans well but does not feel aggressive. It foams up well and rinses easily. The consistency is moderately viscous and it’s clear in color. The pump handle is well-made and the whole bottle can be reused once empty.

We’ve had this long enough that I feel comfortable leaving a review:I am P I C K Y when it comes to food & topical products. This was a recommendation based off the clean ingredient list so I thought I’d give it a go. My hair feels so clean, so soft. My wavy hair texture has started to come back!! One of the best shampoos I have ever used. Doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy like olaplex, it really does feel like it is thickening my hair. When you first rinse it out, it does make your hair have some friction to the touch when still wet, but after drying I feel a natural amount of good oil come back, my roots do not feel overly dry. Where I used to be back to greasy next morning, I can now easily go 3+ days between washes if I use a bit of dry shampoo powder on the last day, even in this summer heat! The scent is not strong (which I love) but what little there is smells lovely! I have all the same high praise for the volumizing rosemary conditioner, which I chose to buy alongside this, too!Also, my husband uses this product, he has a thinner hair texture than I do and trends to the greasier side since he’s a tradesman and is getting gross at work every day lol. He loves it too!Came very well and safely wrapped. Cant say the same about the conditioner bottle, the pump compressed a bit leaving some leakage but not much and bottle is still perfectly fine! Other than that, highly recommend!!

Incredible!
I’ve wasted SO much money on shampoos, to tame my white, dyed, dry hair and itchy scalp. This one does it. No further searching! I love how it smells as well- tea tree with a hint of lemon? That’s what I smell.This makes my hair shiny without feeling heavy and weighed down. I even noticed the clean squeak, but not dryness, when washing my hair.

I love the clean ingredients in this product and the smell is fabulous. My biggest complaint is my hair does not feel like I have used conditioner afterward. I need to use quite a bit and my hair doesn’t comb out the tangles very well. My 9 year old daughter says the same thing and she refuses to use it because her hair is curly and gets more tangles than I do. I think this product would be ok for shorter hair that doesn’t get tangles easily.

The shampoo is really good for fine hair. Gives you volume. It does dry hair out. I would not recommend using it all the time, maybe 2 to 3 time

I’ve tried so many organic hair products and Avalon is the only one that doesn’t trigger any allergies for me. My hair is so soft and shiny using their products. I don’t go to get my hair cut often, but every time the hairdresser asks how my hair is so healthy and it’s from using these products. The lavendar scent is really nice and natural. It doesn’t lather a lot, but it does get your hair very clean.

I’ve used this shampoo for a few years now and it’s really effective for oily scalps. I used to have bumps or pimples on my scalp but no longer after I started using this shampoo. Only thing is that it might make your hair feel dry so definitely use it with a conditioner or just every other day instead of daily.

I bought a smaller bottle of this shampoo and was very pleased with it, so bought this bigger size as it’s better value. I have definitely noticed far less hair fall, since using it. I shampoo, leave it on my hair covered with a shower cap whilst having my shower, then rinse and condition. I don’t use the conditioner that is in the same range, as my hair is very fine and tangles easily, so use a different conditioner, keeping it off my scalp as much as possible. I found the matching conditioner didn’t help to untangle my long, very fine hair enough for me, but the shampoo is great.
