Easy to use app-controlled feeder
My cat and I have been really happy with this feeder so far. It’s been great to spread her meals throughout the day and not worry about missed feedings. This model doesn’t have a low-food light, but otherwise it does everything we need.Setup is straightforward, and the feeder uses the popular “Smart Life” app for programming. Like many smart-home devices, this one connects only to 2.4GHz WiFi (not 5GHz), but that shouldn’t be a problem for most home networks. The app interface is easy to understand, with options for manual and scheduled feeding. You can pick specific days of the week, as well as times down to the minute on a 24-hour clock.The feeder’s motor runs quietly, so my cat wasn’t afraid of it at all. We haven’t yet had any issues with clogging, either. The food tank is removable for cleaning, although that wasn’t obvious at first (the manual says nothing about it). There isn’t much to grab onto, so I found it easiest to squeeze the base between my feet and then pull the tank upward.The feeder is powered by an included USB AC-adapter, with a cord that’s about 5′ long. You can add three D-cell batteries for backup, but there’s no low-battery indicator. If the WiFi goes down, the feeder keeps running on schedule so long as it has power. Overall, this feeder has been doing the job nicely, without any major issues. Recommended.

So far so good.. unboxed, and got it put together and up and running .was easy to get it set up and down load the app.. Nice size . Love the quality. Great value.

Good, but could be better, especially as a “smart” device
We have three plump cats who like to eat. It’s often a pain to keep the cat bowl full…after all, if they can see the bottom, the bowl must be empty! So, the thought of using a smart cat feeder thrilled us!This device came well packaged. Unpacking the device was easy, but it also offered up a couple of surprises. The power cord was made of fabric versus reinforced rubber. This could be a chew hazard if your cats are attracted to cords.The app download was not intuitive. The QR code in the instruction book, when scanned, took you to an online page with the same QR code to scan! I was able to search up the proper app and get things started. It is important to note, as it isn’t documented anywhere, that this device will only run on the 2.4 GHz internet band. Temporarily, you will need to put your phone on the 2.4 GHz band until you get this device online. Afterwards, it won’t matter.Once we were able to pair the device, we were able to get it online with no other issue. We were able to set a schedule and let it go! We filled the hopper and went on our way. We are still tweaking the portion size, which is a numerical value between 1 and 17. Not quite sure what each step represents, but we are currently using #9 twice per day.Overall, a decent product at a fair price that seems to work well.EDIT 8/28/2023: The company reached out to me via Amazon’s messaging system. They take customer feedback seriously it seems. Seeing my review, they offered to send out a six pack of desiccant bags to me as a replacement free of charge. They also offered a refund if I wasn’t satisfied with the item. I declined both as the feeder is working well. As such, I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars for the company willing to go the extra distance to ensure satisfaction. So, if you have concerns with your order, I feel comfortable recommending you reach out to the company for resolution.

Affordable Automatic Feeder Exceeds Expectations
After considering automatic feeders for a long time, I was always deterred by their high prices and mixed reviews.
