Best purchase for my kitties
Okay. I love it. I absolutely do. One of my cats would wake me up by knocking things over to get fed. At 3 am. No more of that. Now I will tell you, takes a minute to program the portions correctly. For example. I started with six feedings a day, 8 portions. Way too much for my two cats. They don’t like their food too sit in the bowls. So it was too much. So I adjusted to six feedings but portion size two. Ok. That’s working, but it’s two tablespoons about, and that is split between two bowls. So I think I’m going to go up to three and that’ll be it. It works perfect. I use Purina gentle sensitive stomach and the size is perfect. I like that it has a filter that keeps storage dry and fresh. A 3.15 bag fits perfectly. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Great auto feeder
This has been a game changer for making sure my cats get appropriate portions and making sure my cats are fed when I’m not home. The portions are tiny (seems like 1/8cup) but you can increase or decrease them as needed.

Comes in handy when no one is home
This automatic feeder is relatively easy to set up (the model I got has no wifi capabilities). Although it was at first difficult to determe how much one serving is, I discovered you can manually push some buttons to produce one serving and then extrapolate more servings based on that. So far it has been working flawlessly.I found two issues with this automatic feeder. First the battery compartment door would not stay closed after I first inserted the batteries, so I had to keep it closed with some tape. Secondly, the cannister that holds the food is always tricky and difficult to get off the base, so not sure what is the right procedure to prevent that difficulty. Overall this is a great automatic feeder that has come in handy when no one is home to feed our cats during the day. Now we leave it on even when we’re home and it’s so fun to see our cats make a bee line to the feeder when it deposits its food.

Works Very Well!
I have two cats and their original auto feeder. I had only had one bowl. It also was very difficult to program.This feeder was easy to program. I only had a small issue doing the feeding, mainly because the “M” was not clearly visible, and the portions were miniscule so I had to increase considerably for a proper amount of food..The food drops down as programmed and my cats run when they hear the sound of the food dropping!The bowls are easy to attach..so they do not slide and to detach to clean.I have not put batteries in yet, because it requires 1.5 volt, and I do not have any ..so will get them , as a back up when I do overnight trios in case electricity goes off .

Petultra Automatic Feeder
Just got in the mail today. Easy set up and pups already enjoying the spoils. Manual is clear, but pretty self explanatory. Just know 1 portion is 6 grams. With dog food 1 cup = about 85- 100 grams. The system give you the option of upto 6 servings per day, 20 portions per serving. It is not a whole lot, especially if you split is between two dogs. I realize i will be supplementing manually. Still better than messy bowls and refilling multiple times a day. Plus, for the price. Worth it. There are bigger ones our there you can purchase.

A little hard to navigate, but works
Our cats seem to go through their food fast, so we wanted to do two feedings a day. Issue is, sometimes my wife and i aren’t home from work until late and we didn’t wanna miss the second feeding so boom… electronic feeder. And i gotta say, so far so good. We have three cats and usually fed them in two bowls (they would always ignore the third bowl when we put out three… friggin cats) so this is perfect. The hopper holds an entire 3.5-4lb bag of food without issue, just pay attention to the size requirements. There’s a sticker on the lid of the hopper to compare the size of food against to make sure it’s not too big. You can do one to (i think) six feedings a day, can set the time for each, and can set the portion size for each feeding from 1-12 portions (a portion is one turn of the dispenser… kind of like those dispensers in the bottom of gumball machines). There is nothing that says how much food ounce-wise is in one portion, so trial and error is best. We have it set to eight portions per serving, two servings a day and that works for our cats with the Rachael Ray Nutrish food. The food dispenses fine with no jams or ‘dud’ portions where the dispenser slot doesn’t fill… AND there’s a ginormous silica gel packet in the top of the lid to keep moisture out of the hopper. The trays and food ramp can be removed to clean and everything seems to be well made out of sturdy plastic. All in all it’s a great feeder that just WORKS… and if you accidentally unplug it, the time, portion sizes, feeding times, etc all stay saved. I only unplugged it by accident for a moment or two so i’m not sure how LONG it saves them. But it saves them for at least a moment or two, haha
