Softer than the original treats
These are one of my old guy’s favourite treats. They do seem to be a bit softer than the original treats, but they are not as soft as you would expect.For freshening up breath, I’d say it does slightly worse than the original treats. Still would recommend!

You Will Break Your Dog’s Teeth With These
I don’t often write bad reviews because something has to be really bad for me to take time out of my day but holy cow these are the WORST. First of all, these are not small at all. These would be for medium sized dogs as no dog up to 15 lbs is going to be able to eat them in one bite. But I could have looked past that and cut them up except for the fact that these chews that are SPECIFICALLY ADVERTISED AS SOFT were so hard that my specially sharpened knife could not even cut through one with me applying as much pressure as I could apply. I mean these are rock solid. There is just no way a smaller dog or a dog with bad teeth or less teeth is going to be able to enjoy these. This might work for a lab but it’s definitely not working for a Chihuahua.

Hard as rocks, not soft
I got these for my senior dog. He likes the smell, and taste, because he tries to eat them, but quickly spits the treat out, as they’re impossible for him to bite into. I resorted to placing one in water for 3-4 mins, to soften, and still have a hard time cutting them into easier to chew pieces. Thankfully, they’re softened enough, that he manages to be able chew on the softer, smaller, cut up pieces. His death breath seems to be improving, somewhat!

Hard not soft!
Very good size, but was not soft at all. I have two small dogs ages 14 and 11 that needed this item to be soft.
