    Easy to apply
We bought this for our dog. It was easy to apply, but it does take a little bit to dry like other products. Within a day or 2 we started to notice our dog wasn’t itching as much. We noticed less fleas. It lasted for about 30 days. You apply it once a month. Great value and good product. Our dog didnt have aby side effects.

    Worked
These actually helped my pet so much. It’s been two months and I can tell that he’s gonna need a new one already. It does control the fleas easy to use. Just put it around your pets neck. There has been no irritation or side effects to it.

Please Read If Your Dog Has Kidney Disease
Please Read If Your Dog Has Kidney Disease—SuzyQ’s StoryI’m writing this not out of anger, but out of grief and love—for my dog SuzyQ, and for every pet owner who deserves clearer warnings.Four days ago, I applied Amazon Basics Flea & Tick Topical for Medium Dogs to SuzyQ, my 23 lb senior dog with stage kidney disease. She was on a vet-prescribed kidney diet (Hill’s K/D), gabapentin, and a liver supplement. She’d been stable, happy, and playful—until last night. She stopped eating. This morning, she followed me around quietly, eyes wide, mouth slightly open. By afternoon, she collapsed. I rushed her to the vet, but it was too late. They said her body couldn’t recover.I didn’t know that dogs with kidney disease may not tolerate flea medications well, especially topical treatments like this one. There was no warning on the packaging about renal sensitivity. No alert that dogs with compromised detox systems—like SuzyQ—could suffer systemic reactions days after application. Her symptoms matched known side effects of fipronil toxicity (this all happened once about 4 days later):• Lethargy• Loss of appetite• Vomiting and diarrhea• Behavioral changes• CollapseIf I had known, I would have chosen a gentler option. I would have asked my vet first. I would have waited. What You Should Know:If your dog has kidney disease, liver issues, or is on multiple medications, please speak to your vet before using any flea treatment. Especially avoid systemic or long-acting products unless medically cleared.Medications to be cautious with in dogs with kidney disease include:Brand Active Ingredient NotesBravecto Fluralaner Isoxazoline class; systemic, long-acting ANexgard Afoxolaner Isoxazoline; linked to neurological side effects ASimparica Sarolaner Isoxazoline; systemic absorption ACredelio Lotilaner Isoxazoline; newer, but similar risks AFrontline Plus Fipronil + (S)-Methoprene Topical; may cause delayed reactions in sensitive dogs BAmazon Basics Flea & Tick Fipronil + (S)-Methoprene Same ingredients as Frontline; no renal warningsThese products may be safe for healthy dogs, but not all dogs are average. Chronic conditions change everything.SuzyQ was more than a pet—she was my soul mate. I’m sharing this so her story can protect others. If your dog has kidney disease, please ask your vet before using any flea medication. And if you’re a manufacturer or vet reading this: please add clearer warnings. We deserve to know.SuzyQ deserved better. So do yours.Again, I’m not putting this product down. I think it works as described. I just wish there were more warnings in the reviews and media.

This product does not work on any level.
Do not buy this product. No matter what you do, it does not work at all. I literally have a cluster of flea dirt. In the exact location in which I applied the product. I used this product on both of my dogs and both of my dogs have fleas. I now have to go spend more money to buy another product that hopefully will work. Don’t waste your money. I sure did.

    Better than the name brand
Works very good on our Rat Terrier, better than the name brand, to be honest.
