I use the puppy training treats to reinforce the puppy behavior that I want to see from my golden doodle. She loves them. She is a very sweet pup and these are a very good incentive to help with her training.

The **Zuke’s Puppy Naturals Soft Treats with Pork Recipe** have become my senior dog’s absolute favorite! Even though she has no teeth, these treats are soft and easy for her to chew without any issues. They’re the perfect size for her, and I love that they’re made with natural ingredients, so I feel good about giving them to her. The pork flavor seems to be a hit every time, and she gets so excited whenever she sees the bag. These treats are perfect for senior dogs or any dog that needs something soft and gentle on their teeth!

I love Zuke’s because it doesn’t crumble in the treat bag. She is a puppy and is sick of chicken and rice, so she likes that it comes in beef. We potty trained our puppy with these.

Hard as rocks
Zuke’s usually has great products, especially the peanut butter and oats recipe, but this Pork & Chickpea Recipe was terrible. It was hard and had a very bad smell (much different from say bacon or most chicken treats). My dog had to chew it longer than she does her kibble and it certainly was not “tender” or good for a quick reward treat. The expiration date was still 6 months out so I wonder at what point the product was mishandled. I am thinking I might throw these away.
