I didn’t expect to also unlock my main character energy.Weatherproof AND FabulousI’ve walked through downpours, sideways mist, and one suspiciously aggressive lawn sprinkler—and came out looking like a functional adult with her life together. Nice fit especially if adding layers. Warm and comfortable. It packs small quickly. Great for trips with unpredictable weather.

I ordered this for a 10 day trip and it was *the* best piece of outwear I took. I would give 5 stars but with the pockets don’t have a closure. Big issue for a travel raincoat, unfortunately.Anyway – back to why this was a great raincoat: For starters, it rained. A lot. As in, every single day. You can see the puddles in one of my review pics. This coat kept me 100% dry AND was roomy enough that I could layer/wear a sweater underneath it – which was great because not only did it rain but it was very chilly, too. Even though it’s zipped up in the review pics I attached the bulk of the warm sweater/layering underneath sort of shows. Without layering underneath it did still fit well, just looser. The coat can either zip or snap shut, or both. Includes a carrying/travel bag which was handy when packing and would easily fit into a backpack or tote.I do wish the pockets were zippered; however – for a good useful raincoat it did what I needed it to do. I kept light gloves in the pockets but wouldn’t trust the pocket design to hold anything valuable (wallet, keys, ID case, money). Having a secure pocket closure and/or an interior pocket would raise this to 5 stars, for sure.Love the longer length, I could sit down and my bottom stayed dry.SIZING: Usually I size up for coats and jackets because I like the extra room. I followed the advice in reviews and ordered a size Medium, the size I wear for tops and dresses. The fit is perfect. Had I sized up the coat would have been huge. Even with a Medium I could layer under it and still have plenty of room to zipper or snap it closed. For reference I’m 5’4″ tall, 36B Bust, about 174#, and pear shaped.

Rose raincoat, size Small
Rose is a medium-light cool tone pink, love the color! Good sized attached hood with drawstring, double zipper works well. Velcro at cuffs. Nice fit, slightly loose, not overly huge like other raincoats. As a petite, coat is at my knees. Hand pockets with decorative non-working snap, direction of pocket flap helps keep it “closed”. Don’t think fabric will be breathable, but on the flip side seems to keep water out well (tested briefly in shower), wish it had underarm vents. Machine washed and hung to dry. Very lightweight, no lining. Comes with small pouch for travel. Thinking about getting khaki color – Love it, finally a lightweight travel rain jacket that actually repels water!

Nice fit.
Fits well, roomy hip area in the size S. Adjustable wrist area with Velcro. Neck area under the front zipper was a bit pinchy. Perhaps after washing, it will feel less pinchy. Light weight, especially ice for packing and carrying along for a sudden rain. Zipper slides easily.

A great way to play in the rain
I am not a fan of raincoats. The material usually makes me sweat. Not this one. The material protected me from the rain, and I wasn’t worried that it would tear, very durable.I traveled to a very rainy area and put the coat on in the morning. I had forgotten about it being there. Even though the material was lightweight, I stayed dry. The length is perfect. I liked that the style allowed me to move without being restricted. I liked the hood. This coat has become a part of my travel kit. A++

Buy this raincoat!
I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a raincoat but needed something light and packable for a trip. My usual size is S and that’s what I ordered. It’s a nice fit and roomy enough to wear over a layer or two, folds down into a small separate pouch that will easily fit in a tote bag, backpack or large purse. It has a two way zipper which I always appreciate, and I also like the velcro at the cuffs to tighten them. Honestly, it’s a great looking coat that appears much more expensive than it was. I haven’t worn it in the rain yet but given the material, I expect it to be fully waterproof. The only time this jacket might not be comfortable is in extremely hot and humid weather because it would get sweaty (due to the material, not the weight) and it doesn’t feel great against bare skin. This is one of my all time favorite Amazon purchases.
