High quality
It’s a nail cutter. But it just feels so much better from a fit and finish aspect compared to drug store nail clippers.Obviously these are meant to be portable, so they are definitely small, but not too small to handle comfortably.The cutting edge is sharp and gives a satisfying cut. The cutting edge is on the smaller side though, smaller than I’m accustomed to compared to drug store small clippers. The cutting edge almost feels like these are meant for children, but had no problem cutting my adult male nails. Definitely would say it’s too small for toe nails, but honestly who would be cutting their toe nails other than at their residence.It has a keyring hole to allow for keychain carry, but because it may be keychain carried and bumping into keys, i wish it included some sort of sheath to protect the cutting edges. For now I’m using a trimmed down heat shrink. Not the prettiest but does the job to protect the cutting edge.I also wish they integrated a file texture to one side of the flat surfaces, but i guess if you’re looking at this you probably also carry a SAK which usually has a small file. But i still wish they integrated a file to this clipper.Definitely on the pricey side compared to drug store clippers, but the quality difference is very apparent.

Glad I got this improved nail clipper
This is a very nice upgrade from the normal nail clippers you normally find. These are pleasantly sharp for easy, nice cutting of nails. Cutting requires minimal pressure – easier cleaner cuts. Also smaller profile when not in use which is also nice.

High quality but blades are too small
Functional design, high quality, cuts cleanly, but the blades are small – suitable for the nails on my pinky and ring fingers, but not the nail on my thumb. (Note: I have medium-sized hands.) I have an older Victorinox clipper that has a more elegant design and more appropriately sized blades, which I will continue to use every day. The new small one will be okay for my small travel kit.

Great fingernail cutters.
Most fingernail cutters work ok, but this one comes at it from a different angle and works great. I’m 78 and don’t have as much hand strength as I used to and these fingernail cutters work very well for me and are sharp enough to get the job done not just bend my nails as some do.

Excellent sharpness, clever design, just a tiny bit small
This is like having a well-designed Swiss Army blade for your nails: I’m not sure if I’ve ever had a better blade in terms of cutting. It’s super neat in terms of folding away into a very contained long rectangle. It’s just a tiny bit small in terms of even a woman’s nail bed, so you have to turn it pretty carefully to snip your nails. Probably ideal with some care for a child’s nails or for a woman with very small fingers.

Perfect keychain nail clippers
I will admit up front that I am a fan of swiss army knives. I have three keychain knives and two larger ones. I frequently break/split finger nails and decided the nail files on my small SAK knives weren’t enough to deal with this problem, so I ordered these nail clippers. They look good, disappear on a keychain, and cut very well. What more can I ask for? Well, nothing I could think of, hence the five star review. I’m constantly amazed at the value of Victorinox products. The quality you get is amazing for the relatively low price they charge.

I bought these nail clippers in 2022 because I wanted something small and streamlined for travel, without a sharp nail file attached. The design is elegant and compact, and after regular use they’re still sharp and precise. They feel durable and well made, with a smooth cutting action that’s easy to control. Because they’re so petite, they’re best suited to fingernails or thinner toenails rather than very thick ones. Overall they’re minimalist, reliable, and thoughtfully designed — one of my favourite travel accessories to date.

Deceptively sharp! Cuts through any nail, be sure not to clip them too short if you’re used to a cheap one from the local super market!
