The best least ordor cat litter there is
It tracks. So what? Put a little cheap washable bathroom rug next to the litter box and your kittys paws will drop the bits of litter before they get far. You do have to “stir” it every day. Yes EVERY DAY. This is essential for it to work as advertised. If you didn’t stir it, and remove the one poop per day, then don;t complain it didn’t last. I’ll forgive you if you forget to stir it once a week, but not twice.It lasts about three weeks before you have to swap it out. There used to be better ones out there that lasted longer with smaller amounts, but those are no longer made. Stick with the micro. And use more, if it’s not lasting three weeks, even with stirring. I have two cats. It takes four bags every three weeks, possibly four. Don’t be tempted by brands that use those jagged chunks. Those jagged chunks will hurt and cut up your cat’s paws. The micro has more of the texture of sand.It has some dust so wear a mask if you’re prone to asthma. Especially at change time. The most awesome part of this is that the litter box itself won’t need to be replaced or vigorously washed except maybe once a year. I’ve had the same litter boxes for five years. The crystals keep everything dry so there’s no chance of getting germs ground into the plastic making it stink even if you replace the litter. That does happen with the clay litter.What’s even more amazing is, there’s no added fragrance to the crystals. They’re odorless. They’re not masking an odor, they’re absorbing it. Put this in “saved for later” in your cart and when you notice the price has come down, stock up.There used to be a larger size half-round litter pearls version of the crystal litter. It didn’t roll around everywhere but it did track more than this. You still had to use the bathroom rug trick to keep it from going all over. I miss that. It worked better than the micro crystals. But that hasn’t been available for idk maybe 10 years. There’s a brand name out there called Pearls but it’s just jagged chunks.

Game changer for me!
This Micro Crystal cat litter has been a game changer for me. It is Amazing! After trying every product on the market over the years this is the one that I have been the most impressed by. I put one bag in and replace every month. Remove the solid waste and give it a stir occasionally. No odor, no “concrete” urine clumps , no mess around the litter box, no giant pails or heavy bags, no deep cleaning litter box every week and overall cost effective. Some of the negative reviews appear to be about different types of litter based on videos that look nothing like this brand of litter. Also I have had zero white dust. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Litter Robot
EDIT: I had to drop a star because I think they’ve changed the formula. The loose clumping that it used to do was working really great with litter robot. But, it stopped doing that and now I may have to change it out which is going to cost more for me. I’m not sure I want to spend this much on litter so, I might try microbeads elsewhere. I hear Frisco litter at chewy.com is a good one for the machine. It costs less IF I have to dump the whole thing. Such a shame, this was working swimmingly for me. But, without at least loose clumps too much soiled litter is making it back into rotation and it’s making their feet smell.I am using this product (microbeads) in a litter robot, which the manufacturer said wouldn’t be effective because no clump, but actually it does work really well! It doesn’t clump like clay, but it forms a loose clump that is heavy enough to go through to the waste reservoir. I didn’t think it was that dusty as much the reviews said, no more dusty than clay. It’s a perfect remedy if your cat is getting cement feet from the clay which can be an issue in the robot because it is shallow on the sides. It lasts much longer than clay in the robot as well, so it will go further per pound. I have 2 cats, I will go through 2 bags a month which isn’t too bad. Odor control is fantastic. There is some tracking but still less than clay. I empty the reservoir only once a week vs twice a week with clay. Overall this product saved me from having to go back to the box. Really worked for my needs and no more cement feet!

BEST LITTER EVER Hands Down Buy & Never Regret it
I used to use regular litter. Then I tried clumping with lovely scents. Then I had my eyes opened to the silica based litters. And I am so happy I found this product. It’s been the best litter product I’ve ever used. Hands down, no lies. And I’m not being paid to say it. I’ve had cats all my life. And finding litter and a correct litter box has been a lifelong struggle. Until discovering this product, the ModKat litter box, and the Litter Genie Easy Roll Pail.No one likes to clean, or smell a litter box. So finding these products is like heaven. Crystals really absorb the urine and its smell. It dries quickly. Poo dries up also quickly. So this keeps the smell down as well. It has a low dust factor. Let’s be honest it’s low tracking, but no kind of litter will ever manage to stay inside of the litter pan. It’s impossible. I just use a mat to trap most of what makes it out. It doesn’t last a month with 2 cats its usually about 3 weeks if cleaned 1-2x daily or more. But for the price point, and based on same kind of litters (Pretty Litter (skip this product it is junk too)) it’s worth every penny.I always get compliments that my house doesn’t smell. I would not back products I don’t believe in or use. But these products are my fave and I use them daily. Just give them a chance, and you’ll be a believer too. Simple to use, easy to clean, time saving, and quite simply they all work100% like they are intended and are stated to. Then write your own positive review.

I have one cat that is 4 months old, I ordered this with the following expectations : less dust so it wont get my sinuses acting up, less clutter, smell control, and to last a month. Unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The dust will linger on my cat causing my throat to get itchy, clutter on the floor was more than minimal which i would have ignored if it was not for the other issues i faced using this litter. After 1.5 weeks the smell control starts deteriorating significantly, i scoop poop at least twice per day and my cat wont use the box if there is poop in it given the smell. Finally the litter barely makes it to 3 weeks without getting super stinky. In my opinion if u dont have bad sinuses and can afford 2 bags a month this is an ok unscented product.

I am very happy with this. I had a melt down one day because my cats kept making a disgusting mess with regular litter and after working all day, I didn’t have it in me to clean it up. They’d put litter on the walls, track it all over the floor (their litter box is outside my bedroom door as well so gross litter was the first thing and last thing I saw and smelled all day). I cant believe I didn’t buy this before now. With two cats, I can keep a bag for a little less than a month. The smell is contained for about 2 weeks at a time, then the last week I really need to clean it again. I’m also only using one bag for two cats which is less than what is recommended and I understand that. This litter has made my life so much easier, it tracks less and so easy to clean up. It doesn’t stick to the litter box like clay litter. I now have this product on auto ship.I was concerned about the health of this for my cats, but after reading more about silica, I learned it is the dust that is harmful. This is not dusty. When you pour it, don’t inhale, it’s leaving the bag it’s lived in and going somewhere else. It makes sense that the smell is a bit strong.If you are starting to hate your cats because of the mess and smells they make, please for the sake of your own sanity buy this litter.My only wish is that the bag was bigger. Because it has made my life better, I have given 5 stars.

I bought this product to get me through a pinch between deliveries of my normal Pretty Litter brand, and I was hoping this could become a more convenient replacement full time, but I don’t think it can. It’s extremely fine, which is nice and smooth at first, and you can see how it would be soft on the paws, but in less than a week (I have two geriatric cats who pee a lot) this fine sand was so saturated it was no longer siftable, and had to be completely replaced. Luckily my PL order had arrived by then. I was hopeful, but alas this is not a suitable replacement for PL if that’s what you’re using now.
