UPDATE: After submitting a 3-star review (see below) the company reached out and offered a refund. As I stated in my original review–that the clipper was sturdy, sharp, and well-made–I decided to use their refund to purchase it again, assuming the first one was just defective.Original Review: I was initially very happy with this nail clipper. It felt sturdy, sharp, and well-made—definitely more high-end than most clippers I’ve used. Unfortunately, the spring snapped after only six months of intermittent use. While it performed great while it lasted, I expected it to hold up longer given the quality feel.

Best clippers we have ever purchased
These are so easy and helpful. I even got a pair for my father n law. My husband is diabetic and 73 yrs old. His toenails are horrible to care for. They are tough and thick and must be maintained. As a retired nurse I knew we needed these to help us. My husband can’t bend with his back to care for his feet so I do it. My hands have arthritis in them which can make it a challenge. I ordered these clippers, they are very sharp and open up x-wide to get his nails in them. I can squeeze them to cut without any difficulty at all. So I bought for dad and he is very pleased with them also. They also have a separate nail file to finish any edges. These come in a nice metal case that keeps them secure and ready for use. You won’t be disappointed, just be careful not to cut yourself as they are very sharp, light weight and easy to use. They also have a locking button ton the top of clippers to protect the sharp edges.

These clippers are sharp, well designed, easy to use. Only flaw is the little lock on the handle, the mechanism of which is easily, unintentionally locked by your fingers as you trim your toenails. All told, though, a very good tool.

Super clippers
Although I’m not a man, I use these clippers and they work great! They are great for thick nails on small toes, and, unfortunately, I do have that problem. It is easy to maneuver them to clip those difficult nails. Most clippers don’t open wide enough, but these do and do a great job!

Really good for aging parents
These toenail clippers for seniors are so much better than regular nail clippers when working with elderly parents. Thick, curving nails are common for older folks and these clippers have an easier angle and wider open area to make trimming nails easier. The clippers are well made and sturdy, and they have a lock function when not in use. Even when you have to go through thick areas these pass the test. Excellent product.

These work very well with my thick fungus infected toenails…best to use after a shower or a foot soaking as the nail softens…Be aware, mine came really sharp! If you suffer from Diabetes, these can cut into your skin quite easily, So be careful…
