This product really works! I noticed a big difference after just one application. No more fleas or ticks, and my dos hasn’t had any irritation. Great value compared to other brands.

Worked right away, within a week they were gone!
Took my dog to the dog park and brought fleas back! Advantage was not working so I switched to this. Within the week I see nothing so far on my three dogs and one cat. I will update on a few more weeks! The only thing I was not a fan of was the opening of the vile. Usually you just break them but had to use scissors, but that also means they were sealed well so I can manage! I DO recommend this !

Effective Protection & Great Value
I’ve been really impressed with the TevraPet Activate II Flea and Tick Preventative—it works just as well as the big-name brands but at a much more affordable price. Within just a day or two of application, I noticed a visible difference: no scratching, no fleas, and peace of mind knowing my dog is protected.One of the features is the value—each tube contains a generous amount of product, which is perfect for larger dogs or extended coverage. The only minor downside is that because there’s so much in each tube, it can be a bit tricky to apply cleanly without some dripping or mess. It helps to part the fur really well and apply slowly.Overall, it’s an excellent alternative to more expensive treatments, and I’ll definitely continue using it. If you’re looking for something that works, doesn’t break the bank, and provides long-lasting protection, this is a fantastic choice!

These arrived early and work like they should. I live in the sticks and my hounds love to play in the woods. We had a bad year for ticks this year and my dogs didn’t get a single one. No fleas either. They are low to the ground and love being in the weeds so that’s saying a lot. My dogs didn’t mind it being on them after the initial smell when it was drying. I have never noticed a side effect with my hounds. Works every bit as well as the higher priced one for me.

Haven’t seen a flea/tick at all! Can burn dog’s skin and difficult to put on a dog with undercoat
Update: 2025 is a very bad tick year and I’ve had to remove one tick and found a handful on my dog’s coat before attaching themselves. I’ve not decreased my previous 3-star rating for this, but now that I’ve been using the product a couple of years I have found my dog becomes very loopy on the day of application 🙁 In truth, I wish there was a better alternative than liquid absorbed into their blood stream and I don’t like breakaway collars because too many things can go wrong with a collar.I switched from another leading brand 3-month chew to this topical brandy for safety purposes. I’ve not seen a flea or tick since I began using it five months ago (repeat buyer here). Positives – It’s less harmful than any chew. It’s cost effective. Negatives – it can temporarily burn your dog’s skin. After the third use I noticed my dog itching. I checked his skin and found red patches. I showed my vet and he said the topical was slightly burning his skin (which I found out is not uncommon with topicals – ugh! Topicals and Internals each have their drawbacks). Month four and five we are back to normal. It is NOT easy to apply to a dog with an undercoat. It smells and because it needs to dry for a good amount of time we won’t pet our dog on the back for 24-28 hours after application. You can’t let them get wet (think rain, snow, groomer/bath) for 24-48 hours after application. I miss the ease of the chew, but even with the negatives with Activate II it is much safer for my dog!

Dog did not recover from side effects.
Gave to both m dogs, 1 week later both had toxicity and liver damage. My female couldn’t walk unassisted. My male was having gastric issues. By week two after being put on medication and prescription diet. My female showed slow signs of improvement. My male went into kidney and heart failure. He passed away as we raced back to the emergency vet.Two months later. Here we are… broken hearts. My female depressed and no longer able to play, run or go to the bathroom unassisted. Unsure if ever. She walks like she is drunk. I have to do physical therapy with her.Vet said this stuff should be taken off the market.It is poison.

This product works!
I have an older German Shepherd. Since we moved here in California, he has fleas. I tried a brand with spray but didn’t work. So I bought this product and followed the instructions but I used all drops along the backs as instructed. Then I brushed it with the “de-shredder “ brush where I spread the liquid drops. It did start to work within 20-30 minutes. The next day, checked along his back and legs, no flea poops – those black looking sands. Very happy with this product.

i never leave reviews but this stuff works! i have 2 large dogs, and if you put it on correctly it works immediately! the next day there wasn’t a flea to be found. great for the price.
