Puppy loves this treat. Vet recommended.
My puppy ‘s favorite treat. Really motivates a dog or puppy. They are a bit chunky for my puppy but very easy to cut in half or thirds. Especially good for bigger breeds.

Wonderful training treats for dogs
These are wonderful treats especially when trying to train your dog. My dog loves these and I was able to train him to use the bathroom with the use of dog bells that hang on your door knob. (from amazon) I was also able to teach him to shake hands with using these wonderful treats.

Cats love too!
Although they are advertised as dog treats. I get these to my cats and they go absolutely feral for them. I love that it’s just single ingredient, chicken, liver, and super healthy, and I can squish them up to go on top of their food for a nice topper.

Off Colored – Are they still safe to give as treats?
The most recent purchase I received (larger 16.8 oz Tub) seem to be off colored and harder. It’s almost like they were burnt, but burnt wouldn’t make sense as they are freeze dried. Here’s a photo of the older treats (lighter color) next to the new treats (dark color). I want to be sure this batch is safe to give to my dog.

Good treats, but deceptive packaging.
These treats seemed like a healthier alternative to some of the other treats I saw listed. I bought them for the Activities lady at my care center, who delivers my Amazon packages to me. She has a therapy dog that she brings to work, and the dog, Lily, is always sniffing around my room looking for snacks. She probably smells the snacks I have for myself, so I decided to get her some treats for when she comes in with my deliveries. Lily eagerly took one after sniffing it, then wanted more, so she must have liked the taste. After two bites, she still wanted more, but given how little was in the big container (it was barely 1/2 full), I decided to save the rest for future visits. Given the inexpensive price, it is a pretty fair deal. I only took off one star because the package made it look like there would be a lot more than there actually was. It does say there is only 1.5 oz in the container, but like most people, I was eyeing the container, not weighing it out in my head. I would prefer they put the treats in a clear package, so you can get a better idea of how much (or little) is in the container. The picture shown only has two small pieces taken out of it, and you can see how empty it looks.

Stewart’s are great treats for dogs.
I really don’t like leaving a negative review because I genuinely love this product and use it often for training with my dogs. I’ve purchased it many times, and usually the container is full of nice square pieces. I understand that since it’s dehydrated, some breakage is expected, but this time the container was mostly shake, not pieces. This isn’t what I’ve experienced with past orders. I hope this was just a one-time issue, and that future purchases are back to the usual quality.

My dog loves these. Just the smell alone is enough to grab her attention. So much so that I had her off lead outside and she wouldn’t leave my side with these in hand. Her recall is a little sketchy as her distraction rate is high. These really kept her focussed and by my side.I would live give 5 stars but most of what I got was powder. Good for a food topper but not what I ordered or intended.

I suppose the clue should have been in the title but even though the product was freeze dried I was expecting a very different texture. I was expecting something akin to a dried jerky but these treats are very crumbly and powdery, they smell gross and the dog (who will genuinely eat anything!) turns her nose up at them. Not worth the money in my opinion.
