Salvaged beloved hoodies and clothing- THANK YOU!
I once existed in a situation that exposed me to a great deal of mold, and I got very, very sick. I recovered and got away from the source of the problem, however, mold spores are terribly tenacious and have followed me to the present day. I had several items of clothing that I would react to, but was having a difficult time parting with. Basically, I would wear one of these items, and soon tiny pocks or blisters would appear on my skin. I thought many of these items were too far gone and no amount of washing or dry cleaning would remove the spores. I might add that this clothing was not blackened by mold, it was never left to mold in a pool of water or something similar, this was clothing that I wore while sick, and was exposed to the same environment where mold was pervasive. As a last ditch effort, I ordered this enzymatic cleaner which I hoped would literally disassemble the spores to a point where they could no longer propagate in my living space, and aggravate my immune system. I spray-soaked the offending clothing inside and out using this product full-strength and allowed it to sit for a few hours in my washing machine before beginning a washing cycle. To my delight, I wore and am still wearing, as I write this, a hoodie which I love from former employment, without the prickling, itching, and blistering. Many, many thanks to the biochemist(s) who formulated this product, I can now live my life much less fearful of mold.

Secret laundry weapon and beyond
Had this stuff around for cleaning a moldy shower; never thought to try it on laundry until I was brainstorming what to do about some mildewy towels that hadn’t been handled by our washer water ozonator, or non-chlorine bleach. Read the label and found it had instructions for laundry so, used some to wash the towels that had been suffering lingering mildew odor for weeks and voila! Mildew gone. Also works great at dissolving oils (ring-around-the-collar, sheets, etc) so now all our linens are as fresh as the day we bought them. It can be a little rough on bright colors (think of those ‘enzyme wash’ jeans): Yes, the active ingredient in sporicidin is enzymes so use common sense (no silk, etc, etc) and spot test. Not only is it safe for septic systems but, they even recommend flushing some to keep your septic healthy. I use it in the toilet tanks to keep the iron bacteria at bay–yep, we live in the country with a well, and….MICE! Which leads to to the super job it did of decontaminating one of our cars which is parked outdoors that the deer mice had taken to infiltrating. Sprayed the vents, carpets, and door mats with a diluted mixture and when everything was dry–mouse smell: GONE. And they haven’t been back even though we have some yummy peanut butter baited traps waiting for the first one who tries it…Anyway, all around great stuff. Oh, as for the moldy grout: It could not get all of the deep mold stains out (really grotty porous old grout in our last place which hopefully the landlords have re-tiled by now). But, for surface mold, it’s quite effective.

Cheapest price I found
After our home was flooded, we needed do what we could to prevent mold growth in and on the wall and floors. A friend is a “mold specialist” and highly recommended this product. We used it according to the instructions and it has kept our home mold free.

GREAT PRODUCT (with no CAP!)
I have used this product before. It does what it says it will do. However, THIS gallon arrived with NO CAP! It is truly amazing that the product did not leak out all over the single box (with no bag around the gallon). Shame on who ever shipped this item like THAT!

It works!
The Sporiciden Enzymatic cleaner helped greatly while safely dealing with urine odors in carpeting, from a very sick old dog. RIP JayBird. On a more positive note, diluted, the Sporiciden works great on moldy, musty LPs (vinyl records to you newcomers). The directions list it as safe on vinyl, and it’s WAY cheaper than so-called “Audiophile” enzyme products. Don’t be a sucker and pay $10 an ounce for something just because it says “audiophile” on the label. See the Vinyl Asylum (Audio Asylum) for more info.

Killer
With your FogMaster Jr this stuff can take a stuffy old screen porch and give it new life. Or a basement, an old house you’re moving into, anyplace with previous water problems, whatever. Stuff is great, very powerful, absolutely does a great job that you can continue to enjoy with your nose long after its somewhat mediciny odor has dissipated.
