Best vacuum ever!
I’m so happy we bought this! Not only do I have long hair, but our dog is a big hairy dirt magnet and like the old Peanuts cartoon character “Pigpen” a cloud of hair and dust goes with her everywhere. This Shark model with it’s self-cleaning roller and very strong suction is amazing. I can’t believe how many dogs worth of hair and dirt it sucked out of the two rooms with carpet. And the tile in the rest of the house is shiny and dust free. The upholstery attachment works great too. After buying other brands that promise to be good for pets, I was skeptical about purchasing this one. But so far, this Shark is the best upright I’ve ever owned. And it’s very easy to use and easy to empty and clean. If you have long hair and a constantly shedding dog and live in a dusty place like Arizona, you need this one!

This vacuum sucks!!!
I literally threw away all of my old, tired, crappy-looking, filth-spreading brooms after buying this vacuum. It works great on carpets, area rugs, and hard floors, including my 113-year-old hardwood floors (no scratching!). It seriously makes your carpets look like they’re brand new again. It is lightweight and easy to push on carpet, even on Maximum Suction power. Photos show the product fully assembled before using (omg, so shiny!!), plus the accessories it came with, then after using on my living room and one area rug in my dining room. The amount of dirt this thing picks up is disturbing, lol.I love the lift-away feature and the hose attachments for getting cracks/crevices and stairs! The filters are easy to access and clean, and replacements are reasonably priced. The upholstery tools work really well for pet hair!For reference, my husband and I both have VERY LONG hair, and we have a cat…so I have included a photo of the brush roll after vacuuming to show that it really works for long hair, too! This is the only vacuum I’ve ever owned that I didn’t have to clean the brush roll after/during every use due to a tangled mess of hair caught in the roll.Seriously, buy this thing. You won’t regret it. Just be sure to read and follow all the instructions for maintenence!

Great Vacuum That Sucks up Everythjng
I love shark products and I needed a new vacuum. I really have no complaints other than it is a little heavier to push than I thought. I immediately vacuumed my rug and I can’t believe how much stuff it pulled. It sucks everything up and is easy to push around because of the swivel. It doesn’t have a bag so it’s easy to dump out and the hose just clicks right off. It has a hard floor and carpet setting which I really like. You can also pick the suction control.

I didn’t realize how bad my old vacuum was until I got this one. OMG it picked up so much dust and cat hair I couldn’t believe it! It was easy to assemble and it is light weight. I have a bad back and it was easy for me to use. I would recommend this vacuum.

Two years and it’s now in the landfill
We had a Kirby that I just hated! It was heavy, always smelled like burning rubber, and kicked back debris constantly. I got rid of it and bought this. I just used it and after already running my iRobot minutes before, it pulled out nearly a tank full of pet stuff from the living room alone. I love the different floor options and suction control (that brush roll has some power!).. I’m really looking forward to the roller not getting wrapped up! I’ve always been a fan of shark but the Kirby chick yanked my heart strings and I made a bad choice. Never again. Now the kids have no excuses since it’s lightweight! It even did along the baseboards without a fuss!! Very pleased (so far-it’s literally minutes old) bonus- I can clean rugs I’ve havent been able to in a year bc the Kirby would eat them! This is magic!Update- I used the hardwood setting and vacuumed up cat litter in our bathroom without any kickback!Update update- i still love it a week later! Probably more now. If I could marry it and it could financially support me, I would!Update update update: it’s now 3 was later and we are still very happy together. I took this to work and it did fantastic. People were seriously amazed that this wasn’t something super expensive or commercial oriented. The roller bar underneath did fantastic. No tangles and it was easy to remove things I accidentally ran over that I shouldn’t have. Oops! We had a carpet of used staples removed and I forgot about it as I sucked every one up without any fear of getting pegged in the legs. This seriously beats any vacuum I have ever owned, Kirby and dyson included.Update- 3 months later abs the roll brush stopped working. I contacted shark and they sent me a new one after sending back my old. So keep your box bc it’s super hard to find a vacuum shaped box to return it in!Update-down to one star. 2 years later and it’s awful. It’s kicking everything back out and just now, it stopped sucking altogether. When I stand it up to use the hose, it’s like it’s not even powered on anymore. I’ve maintained it and cleaned it regularly. No idea why it’s done this and now I’m not sure what to do-Update-2.5 years and it’s in the trash. It stopped suctioning, kicking back everything, hose broke in multiple places, and filters just seem to stop it up even brand new ones.. goes to show that quality is definitely not a standard in products anymore. Very disappointed. Don’t buy this one unless you are looking to trade in every two years.Update-imagine that-not even two years-And it’s already burned out again. Making a horrendous Hugh squeal that is unbearable, and I mean that in every sense. Replaced all filters, cleaned thoroughly. Makes me want to stab out my eardrums.So far support has been unhelpful. No one speaks English and just cannot seem to give me any help, basically trying to sell me another.Update 3 years- customer service sent out a new motor. Worked well for a day and then started squealing again. Now the hose has busted and costs 70$ to replace. DONE!

I knew my old vacuum wasn’t doing the best job but until I used the Shark Navigator, I had no idea how terrible my old vacuum actually was! The Navigator made my carpets and floors look amazing again. I couldn’t believe how dirty my carpet has been this whole time. I would absolutely recommend it.

I recently lost my Dyson in a separation , I needed a vacuum right away because I have hairy dogs. The stuff that came out of my living room rug was disgusting and amazing. Obviously my last vacuum was not doing the trick. Only downside is that it is heavy to use on stairs. Love that it is good for carpet and wood floors with the touch of a switch.
