Pretty nifty machine
So far I have used this vacuum twice and It’s a pretty strong stick vacuum. It works really well on carpet and hard floors. I like that it is so versatile. You can use the tools with the stick extension or attach the tools directly to the vacuum for closer jobs. It definitely has a great suction which I love about Shark vacuums. Shark has been one of my favorite brands of vacuum tools. I have used the navigator, i have a cordless hand vacuum that I use to clean my truck that works great and I had a Shark robot vacuum at one point as well. Shark vacuums have just been great machines all around.I will say the reviews about not being able to stand the vacuum up is only somewhat accurate. If the dust bin and motor are attached as you normally would to vacuum your floors then the weight of it will cause it to fall over. The roller brush part isn’t wide enough or heavy enough to hold it up. However, there is a little hook down by the roller on the front of the extension tube that is meant to hold the motor and dust cup. If you remove the motor and place it on the storage hook it will stand up perfectly and become a little more compact. It distributes the weight and BOOM it stands without issues. Love the light on it too. It lit up dust and dirt I couldn’t normally see. I can use it under my bed which I like because my pups like to lay under it with the toy graveyard. It’s a nice machine for a 856 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. I mostly have hard floors but it works great everywhere. Pretty decent price too for $125. The upholstery tool and brush tool are combined. To use the brush they must be together but to use the upholstery tool you push the release button and the brush will pop off to reveal the upholstery tool. Pretty nifty stuff. As other reviewers mentioned there isn’t a place to store the tools but to me that is a minor inconvenience.

Best Shark ever
This is BY FAR the best Shark vacuum ever made. Great suction , light weight, easy to manuver,and easy to dump dust cup. And I can not say enough about the hairless brush roll. I’m actually considering buying another one ( if they start making them in other colors). Shark you’ve hit it big this time.

Amazing vacuum, annoying delivery experience.
I love this vacuum!! It is so powerful for being such a small size. It picks up dog hair so easily and glides along any surface with ease. I love that there are multiple brushes and that it can convert to a handheld vacuum. It stores really easily and it was so smart to have the top detach and slide into the base for storage so it doesn’t topple over. I didn’t want a chargeable vacuum because I didn’t want to have to worry about it dying or finding a place for it so this is perfect. I do wish the light on the front was a bit brighter. The only downside to this was delivery from Amazon which was eventually remedied. The first vacuum was delivered to the wrong address and I wasn’t able to locate it based on the photo. The second was “left in my mailbox” with no photo attached. I never was able to locate where it was because it was not left in the lobby of my building. What vacuum would fit in a mailbox? Each of these times I had to contact Amazon for a replacement which was a headache. Eventually they ended up refunding me so I could repurchase it again (they couldn’t send a replacement after the replacement was not delivered). So I would recommend having something like this delivered to an Amazon locker to avoid the hassle.

Great product
This is a light weight and right size vacuum with the characteristic Shark power and versatility. I’ve had it 2 months and I really like it. The purported “self cleaning” brush roll IS indeed that (I was skeptical) and the dirt cup designed to easily dump out so that it’s clean afterward. So far I really like this. I had a bit larger, heavier excellent Shark before, for 10 years, more like a $200 vac, but wanted a slightly smaller and lighter one. This has met my expectations and then some.

Lightweight, great suction and easy to use!!
This vacuum is absolutely fabulous! It is very lightweight, I have back and neck injuries from a car accident so my husband has had to do the vacuuming because ours was too heavy for me to push. I bought this to try and I’m so happy with it. I did our whole house with no issues, it works perfectly. Using the handheld part for furniture is a breeze and it has excellent suction. Getting under beds is easy and I’m very happy with this vacuum and highly recommend it.

Great Shark with Self Cleaning Bar!
This is my second Shark Rocket I have Purched, to replace my old one, which I had for years! This is the best Vacuum, as it does have the self cleaning beater bar on it, where one doesn’t have to worry about hair, string getting tangle in the bar! NO cleaning it. Has lights on the bottom of the vacuum, also when using just he top! The suction on this is really powerful. On carpet and switch to a lower speed for floors. Doesn’t scratch any type of floor and runs smoothly! Has two filters in it that I wash a couple of times them replace with new ones. Has a nice long cord on it. Doesn’t come with a bracket to hang, I have one from my older vacuum which is nice. You can purchase this and filters for a small price! I won’t buy a Shark unless it has the self cleaning bar. So check to make sure it has one! Love this Shark!

Great at cleaning and light weight.
This is an amazing vacuum! I have gone through about 6 different vacuums in the past year that were either not good at cleaning or had defects. I have had it for about 2 months and most importantly it does a great job cleaning everything on the floor whether it’s on hard surfaces and carpet. It is very light and easy to move around especially compared to other bulkier vacuums. I’m glad I purchased it and I think you will be as well.

Picks up pet fur and dust eaisly
Great for dog hair, has lights on it to help see the dust. Good suction. It lays flat, and has great maneuverability, it can turn very sharp, going easily around corners. It can fit great under beds. Vacuuming dust from under beds is a breeze. Dust cup can be easily removed and filter cleaned. Good cord length, good value for the money. Just wish it was lighter, if you have shoulder pain, I would get a featherlight one. Now cons: heavy, does not stand on its own, will fall over. The suction head covers a very small area.

Powerful suction and flexibility . my shark vacuum was simple to put together along with additional tools that are handy for fabric sofa or chairs . Easy to vacuum carpets or floors . Love this shark vacuum which has the ability to turn vacuum head going around corners as needed.I Purchased extra filters but the vacuum does come with one installed . Easy to empty attachment but make sure you know to keep the cup in the right position when opening to throw collecting dust and particles out so as not to have it spilled .Highly recommend Anne does a wonderful job . Don’t hesitate you will be pleased I just order the extra cup filters when ordering the vacuum .Makes life easy

I bought this Hoover for my elderly dad who lives far away from me in the uk. It was delivered (from USA) in a week but disappointingly it came with an American plug. He was very upset. I will need to order an adapter for him. I also thought / hoped it would cone with the small nozzle attachment but it didn’t. I have bought several of these hoovers over the past 20 years and it has always come with this extra nozzle for cleaning edges of carpets & floors. It is my fault but just making you all aware. I hadn’t realised I had bought it from America. He hasn’t been able to use it so I cannot say if it works or not but in the past I have always found these hoovers to be very good.……. I ordered a usa to uk adapter and it arrived today. My dad plugged it inn& switched it on and the whole thing blew up with a loud flash & bang giving him an electric shock. He is very upset – understandably. It could have killed him. I’m sure it is all my fault for not understanding that I could not use it in the UK but I am pleading ignorant and stupid as I was using my normal Amazon UK website and I’d hadn’t realised that I was ordering an American product that was coming from America that would not be safe to be used in this country even with an appropriate US to UK adapter And also a huge waste of money of £125 when money is in such short supply at the moment for everyone I feel so stupid, so embarrassed and so ashamed I feel like I’ve been completely scammed. Why is life so hard sometimes? I was just trying to do a favour for my elderly father by treating him to a new Hoover because his old one is broken. I cannot believe how badly this has all turned out. At least he is okay after the shock – as it all could’ve been so much worse, it doesn’t even bear thinking about.

I had really high expectations on this vacuum based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the engine was making a weird noise and smelling burnt. I will return it.
