I Believe These Work
I take NAD supplements myself and was happy to see there was a dog version out there to try. Although it’s hard to prove, I really do believe that these supplements are effective. At least short term. I can’t really say if it will extend the life of my pet or not, but it does seem to give a little energy boost, which helps you through the here and now. These were easy for my dog to chew and she seems to like the taste, which is half the battle when trying to get your pet to take supplements. Overall, I believe my pet will benefit from continuing to use these chews over time.

Still joint-pain free at 13
I switched up from standard joint support chews a month or so ago.These have a variety of extras to support the otherwise negative effects of aging: Probiotics, Turmeric, Omega-3, Ginseng, vit E & C, etc.My pup is going deaf, but otherwise she’s doing really well, and for her breed she’s getting on a bit :)Sadly the flavour isn’t one my dog likes, but not an issue at all, as these crumble easilly to mix with her food in the morning.

I bought these for my senior dog. She likes the taste of these which is good because she can be picky. They don’t have much of a strong smell and they are soft in texture which helps because she has no front teeth so she can easily chew. They have a cute heart shape. The dosage is based on the size of the dog so if your dog is smaller its a much greater value. My dog is 55 pounds so for two chews daily this is still a great value for 50 days.

My 12y old, 23 lbs Chi mix injured a ligament about two years ago. She’s now completely healed and moving normally again, and I’ve been giving her supplements to help maintain healthy joints. While she enjoys them, I’d also like to provide her with nutritional supplements to also support her overall aging. I hoped to find something more comprehensive and “all-in-one” so that she wouldn’t have so many different supplements.These arrived in a sealed package. There’s no strong odors from these treats, which is a big plus. According to the dosage chart, she can get one chew daily. I usually give it to her in the morning right before I leave for work. After a few weeks, she seems to have more energy, especially if I’m feeling lazy about taking her out for a walk.I can’t say that she absolutely goes crazy for them, but so far she’ll eat one if it’s in front of her. The ingredients seem high quality, and this container should last us for the months. I can’t personally vouch for the taste, but my dog would probably say these chews taste fine. If you have a picky dog like I do, I would recommend you consider this supplement for your dog’s nutritional needs.

Dogs like em, ingredients are good but not specific enough
First, my dogs love them, though they generally aren’t that picky.The important part–the ingredients:My vet recommended I give my 2 dogs fish oil to help with their mobility as they grow old, for the Omega-3 content, specifically the EPA and DHA content. She gave me specific quantities of EPA to give to each dog based on their weight. I’ve attached a side-by-side picture of the ingredients labels of the fish oil pills and this supplement. As you will see, the pills list EPA and DHA individually and the supplement lists them combined. So we don’t know how much of each is in each treat. That’s not horrible, what’s really bad is anything that just lists “fish oil,” as that can contain fillers we don’t need any more of, like Omega-6s. The pills combined EPA and DHA is 600mg while the supplement is 500mg, so you could almost replace the pills 1:1 (which would be nice for me since I have to put the pills into pocket treats or cheese or something), except not quite 1:1 and I don’t really know the ratio of EPA to DHA. So it’s a no for me, but not bad.On the plus side, they contain vitamins C and E, which help with the metabolization of Omega-3s.

Zoomies Know No Age
Mozart, my chihuahua/Jack Russel mix, is eight years old and at the moment shows no signs of slowing down. But I know that time will come eventually. I figure that if I start this regimen now it will ward off old age for a while.~Upon opening the can I notice that it is sealed. Not only will that help to keep the pills fresh but will also let the consumer know if the container has been tampered with.~The smell is pleasant, not a mediciny smell. Of course, Mozart had to have his nose right there to see if it was something for him.~When offered to Mozart he more than willingly took it and then he wanted more. By that I am guessing he liked the flavor.~As a pet parent we need to make sure that anything we give to our furbaby is not just “junk” food. I like all of the nutrients that are in this little heart-shaped chew. Only time will tell if I can see a difference down the road.~When calculating out the number of chews versus the price, it seems to be quite reasonable.~This supplement gets Mozart’s paw of approval.

Misleading NAD+ banner
I was too quick on ordering when wanting NAD+ supplementation fircailing senior dog. This has only 2 MG of NR. Other ingredients are good, but I already was supplementing with Omega 3 and Curcumin with another product. This priduct lists Turmeric and not Curcumin. Curcumin is the biologically active compound in turmeric but turmeric only contains a small amount of curcumin. So think there are better supplements out there. Due to the very small amount of NR, I will not buy again.
