It IS waterproof!
Took it to a concert – rolled up, it fit in my venue approved sized hip bag – it’s large enough that when it stopped raining, I took it off, unbuttoned it, and threw it over two fold down seats and our butts and backs were dry!

HIGHLY VISIBLE RESULTS
This poncho is extremely well made, comes in it’s own storage/carrying pouch and is a great bang for your buck. I purchased it to have with me for Red Cross Disaster deployments and am looking forward to many years of service from it. Just for the record, if they can’t see you when you are wearing this poncho, they are blind.

This is the second one I’ve bought because the first one worked great. It covers well, keeps me dry, and dries quickly. I use it when walking to work and to the bus. It’s a bit heavy, but it works well.

Best rain poncho I have ever owned. The cut of the poncho is perfect. The size of the face hole is just right – it is very important because the top of the hood does not drape and cover your eye sight. It remains perfect angle so my eyes and eyeglasses do not get rain. It is easy to take off and you don’t get wet while taking it off. It is very easy to fold and do not take much space. The poncho is also very light in weight but the material has right thickness and is extremely waterproof.
