Handy bowl set!
The only thing I dislike about this set is the lids could fit a little tighter. I hesitated to knock a star off for that because overall I love this set. I would not trust the lids not to leak if tipped with watery ingredients in them. However, I would still buy this set again because they are nicely made and handy for an infinite number of uses. I didn’t buy the set with the intent of using the included utensils, but they seem sturdy and made with durable materials. Now here’s why I love this set. First, it includes a lot of pieces for the price. I really only wanted a 4-cup bowl and lid, but the cost of that alone wasn’t much less than this entire set. It seemed logical to get 3 bowls instead. I wasn’t expecting to like them as much as I do. The bottoms are wider than some others, making them less tippy, a big plus. The silicone is fairly heavy, which makes the bowls less likely to collapse during use, and hopefully they will hold up longer than a thinner material might. They are sturdy enough that it’s easy to hold the bowl and mix stiffer foods like tuna salad or biscuit dough. Being made of silicone and a stiff plastic, they’re easy to clean. They nest together when folded, and slip into the included storage bag to take up very little space. The bowl rims are rigid, making the bowls easy to handle while stirring. This set has been a great addition to our camper kitchen. The “extra” bowls I thought I didn’t need have proven to be a nice bonus and will no doubt be used a lot. The fact they all nest means all 3 of them don’t take any more space than if I had bought the single 4-cup bowl I had considered. Luckily, I made the right decision.

Nice But Problematic
I ordered these bowls for work travel. They are a nice size and the collapsing capabilities are a big plus. The only drawback it the largest bowl stained after the first use. I made some spicy noodles and washed it Immediately after finishing my meal. But the stains would not come out. The bowl is still functional just now it’s unsightly.

Not leak-proof.
Nothing I do makes these bowls leak proof. The entire purpose of collapsible bowls for me is to carry food away from home. Without them being leak-proof, they are practically useless. They are also a lot smaller than I understood from the description. That’s my mistake because the dimensions are provided but just FYI for others – even the biggest is not large in any sense.

Used for a food bowl for a backcountry trip. The mid size one was good for a large individual portion of food. LI agree with some other reviewers the lids dont really seal very well and the large size wouldn’t be suitable for a lot of leftovers or to make a big family size of salad in. For backcountry use though these are great!

I took these travelling to make basic meals in hotel rooms (ramen, oatmeal, etc.). They were good for what I bought them for and being collapsible saved a lot of space. After a few uses there were some stains that started to show (presumably from cooking boiling hot meals in them), so I don’t know how well they’re made to withstand heat. The container for the cutlery is also pretty flimsy, but overall, they served their purpose.
