Only works on land…..
Update: The company worked diligently to resolve my issue, give me a full refund, and return the product. That makes the world of a difference. So I updated my review to 5 stars. The device works well, just not for my needs.Supposed to be usable worldwide. Global coverage. But only on land. No air travel and no sea travel. That defeated the whole damn purposed. I wish I could return this but it takes 2 months for the item to ship via boat. So great.. lost my money on a one time use that didn’t serve its purpose.

Easy Setup
Couldn’t be easier to setup and use, until the tracker wasn’t finding the GPS signal. Had to contact Customer Service twice so far for help. Not resolved yet.

Beware of the Rewire subscription
GPS works very well.. a little lag on the actual times!! like about 5 min. difference which depending on what you are doing could be a bad thing!!Make sure to read the monitoring co. details!! You have to sign up for Rewire’s subscription. I wanted the month to month but when you get in to order you are charged a year up front @ $150. I contacted them and they will not refund, but said I can re-do the whole process at a monthly rate and I would lose my tracking!!!! So I have to pay a whole year for what I will need for 3 months!

Great for the money!
When the subscription in our new car ended we didn’t want to purchase the expensive tracking through the car company. We stumbled upon this device and thought we’d give it a try. It is absolutely worth it. We can see in real time where the car is and what speed it is traveling. We also can see the history in the app of where the car had parked previously. This is such a great alternative because we can move it to whatever car we are driving at the time. App is super easy to use and navigate. Have 0 complaints!

En realidad funciona de maravilla, se lo puse a un scooter que tengoy me va muy bien, no le tenia fé al principio, yo estoy pagando por la primera opcion de 99usd por 6 meses con 15 segundos de retraso pero aun asi funciona muy bien, el unico problema es que tengo con la aplicacion es que cuando alguien lo mueve, me llega la notificacion, pero me gustaria que se pueda poner la opcion de vibrar o que tenga una alerta mejor, como si fuera una alarma

Life saving product
Absolutely loving it so far! I’m using it to keep track of my Honda, and the setup was a breeze. I’m in Colorado, and after my car was broken into, I feel so much safer having this. I’ll update as I go, but it’s been amazing for keeping an eye on my car. So far, it’s a total win!

GPS for Vehicle tracking
It’s OK. It works but accuracy is within 10 yards most of the time. Sometimes, it’s accurate. It’s built and sold from the UK so maybe that has something to do with it. It does do history, so that’s good. You do need to purchase a yearly subscription to obtain any data.

This is an effective cellular GPS tracker that is most optimal for vehicles. I tested it with my car and was able to keep track of where I was, went, and generally everything you would expect from a GPS tracker. The price of the hardware is subsidized by the subscription which is on the high side. The savings is in the hardware, so this is best for shorter term tracking of about a year. Anything more than that you’ll likely be better off getting a higher priced tracker with a lower priced subscription.The lack of a trial is a bit of a deal breaker for me. I wouldn’t recommend this tracker as a result.

Being a Viner is being lucky. I get free stuff but have to provide an honest review.So I saw this GPS tracker and didn’t read much the description (just fast read).I,ll get to the GPS gadget itself at the end of this review but 1st, what you need to do (register).It says you have to register an account but the webpage it gives does not exist.BUT they also have another webpage for step by step instructions with a link to register. Bingo!You register with your name, address (but no province) and it has all the countries listed in the drop down menu.After a couple of “Next page” you get to enter your credit card information. It offers plans from month to month up to 36 months. The latter is $359,95 (so $9,99 per month) BUT it doesn’t say in what currency! NO free trial periods. So of course I didn’t put in my card credentials.Then you go on a page for tracking. As I didn’t pay it does show “Expire” and invites you to click and get a pop up for plans to choose. What is really strange is on that screen it is written ” Coverage area: UK and EU!!!So not usable in Canada and if I had paid a subscription at first following their guide it wouldn’t have worked anyway and my payment would probably be a bad surprise when it would have shown on my credit card statement.As for the tracker itself it is big. It fits in your palm but you cannot close your fist. The magnet seems strong but maybe not enough (I put it on my stainless fridge and it was easy to pull off) so I’d be scared to lose it on a rolling car.I feel they are selling something like the electricity plug ins that is suppose to save you 90% of your bill (if you know what I mean).One of my three worst buys.

So you buy a device for $20, and then you pay an additional $12/month for subscripion. This is the business model of selling you something for cheap, but then locking you in for costly monthly fees.If you think this through, the device needs to send out very little data in real time (i.e. GPS coordinates once every minute or so, which is negligible, data size wise). Then why is the monthly subscription so expensive? You can get cheaper subscription for video cameras that will give you cloud storage of months’ worth of video streams, for cheaper.I was hoping that I can use the device without the subscription (i.e. no real-time updates, but downloading the info directly from the device periodically), but it does not seem that this mode of operation is supported.If they at least offered a trial period, I could try the service and see if it’s worth it. But I don’t think so.
