Great dog food for sensitive stomach & picky eaters!
Nov. 2025 UPDATE…. this food is amazing for my 10yr old Siberian Husky & 17 mo puppy! It is great alternative a few times a week with their digestive issues! I highly recommend this food for dogs with digestive issues, gas & diarrhea! My dogs have been using this food for the last 60 days with great results!I NEVER had a dog that was a picky eater until I got a red field golden retriever! All my other dogs were gobblers! My 15mos old red field golden retriever has a sensitive stomach & picky eater since she was 3mos old. I have tried many different brands of sensitive dog food in the past year; she loves this combination! I even tried Blue Buffalo Blissful Belly, Fresh Pet & Farmers dog; she walked away from the food? So far Purina Pro Plan Sensitive stomach dry & wet food are my girl’s favorite… when she does decide to eat. Perhaps it is the seafood base?

Gentle on the Belly, Tasty Enough for Picky Dogs
My dog has a sensitive stomach and this stuff works great. No upset tummy, no itching, and he actually eats it without turning his nose up. The salmon and rice mix smells decent (for dog food) and the texture is smooth—easy to mix with kibble or serve on its own.The portions are just right for one meal, and the pack lasts a good while. I like that it’s made for skin and stomach issues but still has real ingredients. If your pup needs something gentle but still tasty, this is a solid pick.

Vet recommended but my boy had an allergy
I only did four stars because my dog cannot handle it, no fault to Purina. My boy loved the food, however I learned he had a poultry, beef and grain allergy so it did not work for him. He is a silver lab whose breed is prone to skin and tummy issues. He had lose stools and his skin broke out which made him itch. I gave it to my boss for her dog and she absolutely loved it, w no issues. So I am glad it didn’t go to waste for price I paid. Finding what works for my guy has been months of trial and error, which came down to his treats can only be fresh fruits and veggies and I have to cook the bulk of his meals.

MONEY SAVER FOR ME!
Where do I start with this one…so little back story, My oldest dog, (the tan one in the picture) is about 4. He was diagnosed with HGE, meaning that he couldn’t have normal dog food because of the meat in it. He can’t have anything greasy or he gets sick (just look up HGE symptoms and you’ll see it all) it was a nightmare trying to get him the appropriate food. He was on d/d food for about 3 years now because he couldn’t eat anything else. Fast forward to a few months ago, I ran out of his food and in a pinch, I tried his brothers food, which was the Turkey and oatmeal bag, and he loved it. I was waiting for the side effects to come from him not eating his own food and wouldn’t you know…there was none. He hasn’t had any symptoms (knock on wood) and they are both able to share the same food. Which is amazing for me and him!Now the youngest, (the blue Merle) is on this food because he was being a picky eater and he had very itchy ears. So the vet informed me to switch to a sensitive skin and stomach food, I tried the lamb one and he wasn’t fond of it. So I switched him to the turkey one, some days he act like he doesn’t want to eat. But the most important thing is that his itchy ears are a thing of the past. I love this food for them because it really helps. They have both filled out a little because they eat it. I give them about 2 cups twice a day for their feeding size and it seems to really be nutritious for them. I will continue to get them this food until it doesn’t work any more.

A lot of reviews mentioned about the product is powdery, I find that is only happening to the bottom part, it is acceptable to me.An issue I have is with the storage because it does not come with zip lock type of seal, so you need to get your own air tight container
